    • +6

      sticks their name on everything

      • +1

yep, buy out small start ups and sticks their logo on things

        • As long as they are selective about the items and quality, I'm happy for this to happen

    • +2

still no sex toys and condoms etc.

    • Xiaomi don't make all those things.

They just get companies that make them to be rebranded with a Xiaomi brand
or subsidy brand of Xiaomi e.g. yeelight etc.

    • What's next? Xiaomi condoms?

      That's a bit invasive lol

      • +2

track your sex frequency and average time then share on internet.

        • It's ok just stat, as long not live streaming them

    • No xiaomi underwear… Yet.

      • Wrong.

Lol, these actually look better than 75% of the ones from Adidas, Nike and Puma.

    • Maybe 90%

    • Most likely copied them

They also keep you safe in dark conditions

need to change my name to xiaomi …. will make it easier to sell sperm…then people will buy it without asking if i’m fat and bald , what my eye colour is or if there are mental illnesses in my family ….it’s xiaomi sperm let’s buy some ….

    • Better than trying to sell it at a garage sale

    • don't need to sell your sperm

just go to a sperm bank..

  • -2

These were much cheaper in the past. Search ozbargain.

$46 here. Same company. Same shoe. Baaa

Not the same sneakers, the link you provided is to a different pair.

    • I have that one. In fact just wore it yesterday. Have to say quality-wise they are pretty good, but the 'smart' feature isnt that easy to utilise… At least for me who only use it once a week or so anyway. Have to keep pairing it manually everytime

      • This is the second generation model, it just released.

  • +1

Don't forget, it comes with a free smartphone hidden under the sole…

  • +1

shock absorbing? This will be great when im playing with my pikachu..

    • Underrated joke

      Maybe…

  • +8

Is this really a deal? If we can get adidas and Nike occasionally at this price, I would consider that for Xiaomi this is average price

    • +1

I look at the price of Xiaomi stuff and wonder how the Chinese afford it. You’d have to be in the top 1%

      • The middle class there can afford it. You do realise the stuff in China Xiaomi shops are half the prices quoted on these Chinese product sites for Western countries right?

        • +2

          not true at all

        • Yeah, fake Xiaomi maybe, the prices are almost the same because of the high sales tax.

      • Even top 1% it's still 14 million people.

Also heard that genuine Nike or adidas are more expensive in China than here, as they don't discount that often there.

  • Ah luxury shoes from Xiaomi

    • xiaomi rebrands them from another company
the name escapes me but its basically china's own Nike, and theyre same or better quality

  • +1

Pulled the trigger on the full black edition. They’re lit AF

  • +1

dumb thing is it’s not even xiaomi designed …..they buy companies that have something and then put their name it to expand a market ….. so we can expect to see almost anything with the xiaomi name on it ….. undies, socks, etc.

would you pay this amount for these runners if they were at kmart brand …..no ….put xiaomi brand on it on it and it sells ….

not even worn by athletes to win an olympic gold medal or marathon ….

yes kitchen sink is a possibility …they just buy a kitchen sink company and rename xiaomi …..it won’t be because their designers have come up with the best kitchen sink …..

    • +2

Yes but Xiaomi makes sure it fits their quality standards most of the time. Whereas stuff at Kmart can be extraordinarily good, or just trash.

      • +1

Obviously we're not be talking shoes any longer, because all Kmart shoes have been rubbish for years. :-(

    • Same as Nike and other brands.

  • -1

Anti-shock…this is just way of competing against ultraboost I gues… Given how similar they look too lol

  • +1

Am I getting this right US10 = size 44 on gearbest?

  • -1

Anyone know if these are for those with neutral feet, over pronation or supination?

    • Does it matter, it's Xiaomi quality …….

the reason you buy nike, or new balance etc is so that you get shoes that are suited for either neutral feet, over pronation or supination.

These companies also do EE for wider feet, etc. The level of impact absorbtion is designed differently if you use them then for walking, jogging or running.

This combinations isn't as easy as making phones where the biggest challenge in a model range is colour.

    • From this picture it looks like it's using single density EVA midsole so I doubt it has any special feature for overpronators. The TPU top-sole is only at the heel and a bit behind midfoot. Also that huge heel-midfoot drop, and there's barely any padding for the forefoot. I think it's just a sneaker rather than a running shoes.

  • -1

    Only for tiny feet!

  • Xiaomi's mega IPO will be launched very soon.

  • No band28?

  • +1

    how is arch support?
