I thought about that before the purchase. In my view Air has some features that are important to me. Better portability, inbuilt memory , “technically” better video and $100 lesser than pro. I am just curious about drones and may not spend much time flying this after the initial excitement. There are second hand batteries available in gumtree if I get really interested.

Ive had 2 x mavic pro. Ive had endless problems with the cameras, just to flimsy and unprotected.
I am about to get another and thinking about getting the Air for that reason. Problem is I already have 4 batteries (mavic pros destroyed)
Im just waiting for the mavic pro 2 to get released so i can check features before i pull the trigger. Not having a drone now is costing.
Doesn't look like an awesome deal to me.. especially considering you need more batteries.
