  • Winestar is likely targeted…..not on my Velocity Platinum, but on Edge.

  • I had one for Expedia as well.

    • What’s the Expedia offer?

      • Spend > $100, get $20 back

        • Thanks, is it targeted? Don't see it on any of my cards…

        • @nizsmo: How do I tell? I have the low rate Amex. It does say “Expedia Welcome offer” as in “you’re a new Amex customer so welcome”?

        • @nizsmo: I aslo didn't get that email. Just followed the link and allowed me to save the offer into my card. Last time I used RED energy offer like that. It worked for me.

        • I have $30 back for $100 spend. Platinum Edge card here

        • @ujwols: #Platinum. Nice.

        • @Occas: not sure, sounds like a welcome offer though..?

        • @tedibaba: is there a link to the Expedia offer?

        • I have it on my QF Discovery. Same spend > $100, get $20 back offer.

    • I got that one too

    • i don't have any expedia one….when did it pop up? none for my three cards

  • Thanks

  • Thanks

  • If only there were a way to split the payment for a familiy booking on Etihad over multiple cards (as you can do with eg HCF).

    • try booking separately. I've just saved this offer on 4 cards and we're plannign to go in sept overseas. Perfect timing

      • Nice saving for you! Doesn't work so well when travelling with kids. Kids can't have a PNR without an adult.

    • call them and ask?

      • It's for online/app bookings only. Not much use talking to a rep, who would like you to book with them over the phone (likely making you ineligible for the cashback). My experience with AmEx cashbacks: hardly anyone from the retailer's end knows about these.

    • disregard I don’t want to spend $1500

  • -3

Iconic- what happens if you buy something/s worth $209 then return? Do you still get the $40…?

    • +7

      Credit gets reversed

      • -3

Not unless you get it refunded on a different card say a supplementary card perhaps.

        • +4

You can’t get it refunded on a different card. There is no option to do so. The only way to refund but not onto card is by “refund 110% credit onto account”.

    • +1

I think if it's the full amount it gets reversed. However, I've had a partial refund from an Amex promo (Merrel) which put me under the spending threshold and I kept the credit.

    • could just buy the gift card?

  • WE'RE SORRY
Our system is not responding at this time, please try again later.

That's what I get trying to register for Etihad offer

    • Probably already reached the 5000 registration limit

    • Just saved to mine

    • Let me guess, another airline (e.g. qantas) branded card?

I doubt they'd allow a Qantas card to use this offer. Gave me the same message as you.

  • +1

As usual, great post by forumninja, but questionable selection of stores by Amex. I'm curious what store is generating the upvotes for everyone?

    • Iconic for me even though I probably won't use it and Lowes

  • I can't save the Etihad offer to my Platinum Edge for some reason…

    • +1

Try again. Didn’t work for me early afternoon, then was fine at around 3pm.

  • damn, i just bought a $275 suit jacket last week >_<

With 25% off ecoupon from hp, $150 off from American Express and also 2.45% off with cashreward, finally it costs less than $730 for a pavilion x360.

Pricepal has higher cashback according to savable.com.au

      • Any way to get savable free after the trial finishes?

        • The OP stated that he is offering an unlimited free trial version to the ozbargain community. In any event it will only cost .99c. Its a great product. I always forget to get the cashback so it saved me more than that after only couple of weeks. I would be happy to pay. Some have even said they purchased.
