        It's for online/app bookings only. Not much use talking to a rep, who would like you to book with them over the phone (likely making you ineligible for the cashback). My experience with AmEx cashbacks: hardly anyone from the retailer's end knows about these.

          You can’t get it refunded on a different card. There is no option to do so. The only way to refund but not onto card is by “refund 110% credit onto account”.

      I think if it's the full amount it gets reversed. However, I've had a partial refund from an Amex promo (Merrel) which put me under the spending threshold and I kept the credit.
