$35 cashback will be credited when you purchase of any of the following SIM plans:

  • UNLIMITED 2.5GB Plan ($20): 28 days unlimited calls & text to Australian numbers.

    Just beware, I found the Shopback tracking is very unreliable..
    They failed to track my purchase on the Vodafone deal few weeks ago and I missing out the cashback.
    The next purchase from Hype also didn't shown on my account and I just sent the claim.. let see how it goes this time..

      I've got a different issue - whenever I try click through on shopback I get the message about addblocker and I cant get through to the site im buying from! This is even with add block turned off for both shopback and the site i'm clicking through to (i.e. ebay etc) AND shopback added to the whitelist. Using chrome. This has stopped me using shopback so far :(

        Same issue here with Chrome and Firefox! No such issue with Cashrewards. So only use shopback via portable device when absolutely needed.

        Hey mates, did you disable the adblocker entirely when using ShopBack (and not whitelist the sites)? We only enable users to go if it's entirely switched off to ensure your order is tracked!

          Yes. Adblock was disabled. Have yet to try having Adblock on Paused or removing Adblock.

    That's a lot of store reps in one post. So can you buy the SIM and immediately switch to payg after that month and not pay more than the initial price?

    Can I activate the SIM in another person's name? I have too many prepaid services already and some of them check for that.

    If it's possible to switch to AS YOU GO plan after first month https://www.amaysim.com.au/plans/mobile-plans/as-you-go ($10 for 365 days) this may result in $5 profit. The requirement is to remain active for at least 60 days but not mentioning if it has to remain active with the same plan. Can the rep confirm if switching plan is possible and still acceptable to get the $35 cash back?

      Not rep but a definition of "active" would be good. Potentially this just means you can let the plan expire (turn auto renew off) and as long as then umber isn't cancelled/ported you're still eligible?

    Below T&C from Shopback site. Store Rep will need to clarify what does it mean to "remain ACTIVE for at least 60 days".

    -Complete your purchase within the same window to qualify for Cashback.
    -You must order a new SIM (not a replacement SIM)

    Cashback not applicable to:
    -Taxes and delivery charges
    -Purchases of gift cards
    -Returns/exchanges/cancellations of orders
    -Usage of promotional or coupon codes not posted and approved by Shopback
    -Purchases made via the amaysim Mobile Mobile App

        Are you saying that to be eligible for this cash back offer, I just need to purchase any plan that is listed on Shopback's offer list, activate the SIM by 31 July 2018 as a new Amaysim customer and there is no need to remain active for 60 days after activation?           Yes that's correct.

          Cashback should be credited to your account in 2 days, however it could take up to 75 days for it to be confirmed.

    I feel like this deal should have received a lot more up votes because it’s $15 net profit, provided the cashback is tracked, and OP is willing to help in case of technical errors. The sim can be switched to the PAYG plan/autorenew turned off after the initial plan.

      Both providers offer good features.

      Deals only show on the front page if they receive 25 votes (default), you can change your settings here

      The deal is in the mobile category page, if you click the new tab. You'll need to scroll down a little as this deal is almost 3 days old now. It doesn't appear in the default deals tab due to the vote count.

      Note you can also subscribe to stores eg Amaysim to get notified when deals are submitted for that store, as well as subscribing to categories.

          Can't say for sure, votes are made by the community. However I would imagine the initial requirement that you must remain active for 60 days might have put many users off. That requirement has been removed/clarified by the store rep, looking at comments above/deal edit, however as it's some days after most users/voters would have come and gone.
