      CashRewards did not honour my Lenovo claim when I used my Amex to pay for the laptop. The reason was given that I stacked Amex Cashback offer with the purchase!

          They forwarded the claim to the merchant (Lenovo) who refused to pay. I was pi55ed because it was relatively a big-ticket-item and I couldn't dispute as CashRewards refused to pursue it any further.

          Update: After reading my comments, TA, our in-house CashRewards Rep, investigated my service ticket and has now resolved the issue. This has restored and further reinforced my faith in CashRewards awesome customer service.

      I don't think you can even use the codes with cash back. Soon as you use a code it reverts to 1.5% cash back.

        I can confirm the 12% cashback works with codes.
        I just made a purchase using the 20NEWBIECSR code and have received a email from Cash Rewards notifying me of $8.83 back from $73.59 purchased.
        Note that the 12% back is from the discounted price minus GST however.

    Cashrewards did not honour the cashback on the basis refused by merchant (a car rental company). It was tracked and coupon on the Cashrewards was used. Not so confident to use them. I will give other provider a go.
