    The last couple of promotions didn’t track for me. Didn’t use any promo codes or discounts. And shopback just plainly rejected my claims.

    Any ideas what else I can do to get this tracked?

      What device and browser did you use?
      It’s usually add blockers, vpn and privacy settings that are the problem.

        I have none of those ad blockers or vpn. Clicked from the shopback app and purchased in the app browser.

        What privacy settings should I avoid? I usually use the default setting on my phone

          I’ve had issues with Safari before. I try and do this stuff via Chrome on my desktop.

            • @67Gateway: Last time I used it was app only, and purchased using the in app browser. Tracked fine.

              @67Gateway: I've done about 6 temu cashbacks with a desktop… I had to nudge them a couple of times, but all have been paid, or tracked awaiting payment

          I don’t know really. ShopBack should provide a test service to ensure your device/browser/network settings are compatible.

          Was there any coupons or promos auto applied?
          Last I used in app browser it tracked fine, and all items tracked separately.

        • also meed to make sure nothing in your cart. i must admit i have never got Amazon to track with shopback. Ali works every time. temu yet to order

          Are you on your home internet or mobile data when you do this? Weirdly enough whenever I do it on WIFI it never tracks, but the moment I switched to mobile data it tracks more often than not

        It’s a Temu thing. They can’t be trusted. They do the same through TopCashBack. They sucker you in with a big discount and don’t pay.

        • I never had any issue tracking with both Shopback and TopCashBack though. There was once that was really due to my error, but then I got my cashback after I file a customer support request.

      Mine gets rejected all the time but I just contact them and they always approve it for me when I send through my purchase order. Not sure if others are the same.

        Yeah, did this a couple of times, the flatly rejected me.

        One of the times they say it is a approved as a goodwill, but nothing landed in my account

    • what a circus the Temu / TCB combo is…on this page there is so much conflicting, contradicting and confusing information…so much misadvice, anecdotes, hearsay and myth on how to actually get the discount to work successfully.

    The only thing is if an item is faulty and you need to return you void entire cash back.

      That's not been my experience. Each item tracks separately so if you return one it doesn't change your cash back on the others.

          Maybe so, but I have returned an item from pretty much every Temu order with no issue. I can click on the cashback and see that that particular item tracked at $0 but everything else tracks normally.

          I believe ShopBack/Temu consider each item an individual order

      That's standard fare for cashback schemes, stops someone getting the cashback then returning the item. All in the T&C.

    Don't bother with SB, won't track.

    Atleast TCB track, but word of warning I made a $50 purchase and a $800 purchase on TCB last time SB had 50% off and asked TCB to price match guarantee. Well what a shock the $50 purchase was approved instantly but the $800 "highest cashback claim" wasn't approved until I returned the item weeks later then it was denied. So you can't trust TCB will actually approve your highest cashback guarantee claims

        TCB Support is still holding out from a response from my last untracked Temu order. Its been a month since they last updated me. Shopback emails constant updates, and has generally been quite good in recovering cashback, although that may have to do with how frequently I use SB.

      I think Temu is more at fault here then either SB/TCB. Seems to cause issues with both cashback platforms.

    Potentially a huge discount from some stores within Temu for someone willing to roll the dice

    Mobile federation is a pretty well-known refurbished seller that operates out of eBay but also has a Temu store. Getting 50% off an s24 ultra brings it down to $530.

    • No experience in purchasing a refurbished phone from China. However, I believe those mobiles may be coming from UK. The UK police have just cracked a case where a large amount of stolen mobile found to be in HK and China.

    • You can try, however I tried on the previous deal and Temu cancelled the transaction due to "Suspicious Activity". I'm guessing going through a cashback merchant is suspicious LOL

    Going to add a positive comment here. It's always tracked for me. Make sure to have empty cart, don't use any coupons, and at the checkout, ensure that the items don't have any "discount" applied. If possible, I would also buy from the mobile app browser but my desktop does track with ad block disabled.

    • Good call, this might be my issue, the items I chose had automatic discounts applied and I can’t remove it. Maybe only apply to full price items

        Those should work fine. Always has, they just track cashback on the order subtotal minus coupon amount for the final paid order total.

        As for your issues, are you on wifi or 5G. Some wifi networks have built in VPN's which you might not know you have.

    • Yeh I'll add on to this that my recent transactions have tracked fairly well. I definitely have had issues in the past though so understand the pain others feel when it doesn't track

    • Last time I got a usb c powered fan which is pretty good for $19 after cashback. Particular item was discontinued but its roughly the same as this one which is a couple $ more.

  • Absolute rabble of a company Temu is when it comes to honouring cashbacks. Shopback are no better holding up their end of the bargain either, even when evidence is provided that the purchase has been made following the exact steps as advised. Coming from someone with $7k of lifetime earnings between cash rewards, shopback and topcashback, my advice STAY AWAY

  • Given all the promo crap which doesnt happen, unless I add another item, then another, then never comes up and coupled with the posts above, Temu, really feels like a company that will use every trick in the book to avoid paying. And I see that the cashback tracked for the first time, doesnt come until January 2026 (if it gets paid)

    I might be wrong, but after jumping through so many hoops, its the one Chinese internet shop I have decided to cancel, once the once only purchase finished warranty.

  • Not sure what I'm doing differently but mine have all tracked except 1 (across all platforms TCB/SB/CR). I lodged a ticket and it was subsequently confirmed.

    Not a 50% cashback. GST is not included. On a $100 purchase, one will get $45.45 back (if it tracks). So, a 45.45% cashback.

    Cashback sites should stop this GST trickery. They deal with individuals only that always pay GST.

    • I agree it's really annoying but I think it's because the gst has to be paid on the full amount so cashback can't really factor that part.

      Maybe they should just state the 45.45% of total price including gst. Would certainly be more transparent

  • I have got cashback for Temu from ShopBack multiple times. It is usually tracked quickly and the cash is available right after the returning windows

    I don’t empty my cart before clicking through from ShopBack. Never seem to be a problem
    Returned item is deducted from the cashback amount and does not void the whole order
    What I do: pick the items I want to buy in Temu app. Click on Temu from the ShopBack app on iphone which opens the Temu webpage inside ShopBack app then place the order

    Tempted to buy the dji osmo 360 at 50% off, but I don't think it's worth the risk of failed cashback
