Excellent single player game. The dlc, not so much.
I was looking at this with the 10% off yesterday before I realised it had a minimum spend.
Despite what the reviews are saying, it's a bloody awesome and fun game. The story takes a MASSIVE unexpected turn that wasn't predictable at all like most games are these days. I prefer this over the other 2 actually.
"Despite the reviews" is an odd sentiment - the reviews were excellent! It's at 86-88 on metacritic for the original releases, and even the (very blurry) Switch port is at 80.
It was one of my top games of 2017 (not #1 but still very good), the game had some pretty poor word of mouth though. Since then, they've patched the difficulty / hit feedback and improved the PC version somewhat (still not perfect but much better than launch). I think if it launched in it's current state, there wouldn't have been too much negativity surrounding it (except from the far right wierdos on the steam forums for the game who constantly complain that it features interracial sex and are upset about killing nazis).
You nailed it at the end. I should have said despite the Steam reviews.
