  Classic Fairy Tales has a bit of a violent red riding hood version, so beware for your little toddlers!

    Classic fairy tales (pretty much anything collected by Brothers Grimm) are generally very dark, but young kids usually don't process/realize/grasp the brutality, and it's most likely what your parents read to you when you were little, and I assume turned out fine.

    Wolf and the seven kids: wolf eats kids, mummy goat cuts the wolf open, fills him with stones, wolf drowns in the well)
    Snow White: Step mum tries to kill her with a poisoned apple
    Hänsel & Gretel: witch wants to cook and eat Hänsel, Gretel pushes witch in the oven where she burns to death
    Pied Piper of Hamelin: Pied Piper leads the rats and mice in the river so they drown, people of Hamelin are ungrateful so Piper leads their kids out of town to be never seen again
