    I have used this before, but not since the dreamliner - it was always around the $650 mark, so good value. Back then I would say it was more premium economy with service and food, but still much, much better than economy. The only downside is that it leaves very early in the morning from Auckland.

    One quirk of LATAM’s pricing is that when searching for prices on the LATAM Australia site, they come up significantly higher than searching through the LATAM US site.Obviously the US site prices in USD but you can still complete your purchase with an Australian card – it will just be billed in USD. Given that the AU site prices around $100-$120 higher than the US site, it is worth making the effort for. You could get the same fare for USD368 which is approx. $500 AUD, saving around $100-$120.

    Goddammit! I was looking to book this exact deal last month when they had the same prices. But they sold out and I ended up booking with Jetstar (cheap as chips though, $215 return). Of course the deal is back a couple of weeks before I want to fly!!

    one issue with the LATAM schedule is they seem to run staff VERY close to the allowed hours, so if they have delays then the flights end up cancelled and people fighting for spots on the QF flights SYD-AKL
