you wont forget your phone, but you will forget your kids and doggos

  • Am i reading description correctly the it simply pops up a reminder every time your Bluetooth disconnects to remind you to double check that you haven't forgotten any kids in the back seat? Yeah, that would get old quickly..

I suppose with scheduled reminders it might be slightly useful if you are in a situation where you pick up kids once a week or something. Not much difference from setting up a recurring weekly alarm though if you are worried, but sure, you'll get the reminder at a slightly more exact time.

I just use the dont-be-a-shit-parent/pet owner, method.

  • I know the deaths of little ones left in hot cars are tragic.

But FFS…we need an App to mitigate these risks?

    • Totally agree. That said, there's a whole heap of apps that remind people to drink water. I'm guessing there are some people that just has a need for it.

    • Well there was no app before and it happened so …

  • Chances of baby dying in car is much less than 1 in a million. Chances of having this app loaded and working much less than 1 in a million. Combined probability of life saved around 1 in a trillion. Definitely worth $20.

Separately I still haven't worked out the catch of these free apps. Why do they appear? Simply generating word of mouth?

  • Honestly do not see the point of this app.. If you are truly that forgetful, then you are the wrong type to have kids / pets really..

    • If they forget a condom they become a parent ;-) There's no test for being a parent or owning pets sadly.

  • If you forgetting your kid, you probably forgetting your phone as well
