I'm not a lawyer but I think you may have a valid claim if you take it to the ACCC.

      • It's a cheap shot at ACCC

    • +1

It says Hot Apple Pi, so i'd recommend a heatsink and possibly a cheap fan.

I miss the $1 Apple Pies but I’ll take $1.50 as an alternative. 😄

    • Don't know if it's just Penrith, but I just got the Apple pie for $1.

Edit: to be clear, 1 custard pie $1.5, 2 hot apple pie $2.

  • Geez I thought that was the regular price… shows how often I go to Mcdonalds now…

    • How much are 30c cones? now?

      • 60c now. Got one in Crown casino (VIC) last week. I think it is still 50c in QLD though.

        • NEQ is $0.60 unfortunately.

      • 75c in Sydney. It not smashed avocado, but the price of cones that means housing is unaffordable.

Ozbargain helps me to gain weight

    • But you're gaining weight cheaply!

  • +2

Apple Pie with ice cream cone is value dessert.

Don't forget the $1.50 custard pie. So gooey and delicious. They need a Nutella one now.

    • What about banana Nutella :o

      • Banana is gross and not a real fruit.

        • Cause they're clones!!

  • +1

I'm not sure if it's nation-wide, but they also now have "custard pies" which are quite good. As the name implies, it's basically the same concept as an apple pie except with custard in the middle.

    • Apple pies have chunks in them. Are these all liquidy?

      • Yeah, they are, and very tasty

    • +1

Still $2.55 at my local :(

  • Apple pie use to be $2 i think…
Then suddenly it become $1.25 for the last few months (vic), Haven’t notice the price change yet, so it increased to $1.50? No thanks

  • What's better, their custard pie or apple pie?

    • Apple because there's at least a semblance to health food with the word 'apple' in it. The custard one will be just all bad…

    • Custard. I might have had to buy a couple this week and they might have been pretty amazing (as far as McDs goes).

  • They've been 1.50 at select stores for at least a year but now maybe it's global! Scrumptdidiliumptious (only when fresh) - plastic the next day haha

    • maybe it's global!

Umm, not sure how that's going to work but sure!

It's a well known fact that feminists are against apple pies, especially the male ones.

      • -1

        male feminists? you mean…. cucks?

    • Apparently the cardboard sleeve comes from trees and they were transported by vehicles running on fossil fuels. McDonalds air is ok though ;-)

    • +1

Feminists and vegans are interchangeable in your eyes, ClimateBoogeyman? You couldn't be more cliched right wing if you tried!

I buy this for my partner everytime I screw up, so this is a very good deal.

    • +10

      You're a keeper. I'd marry you.

    • +1

Cheaper and taste better than flowers ;-)

  • are they still deep fried ?

    • +4

Yes till it becomes illegal ;-)

  • I saw they have custard pies for $1.50 now as well. Does anyone know if theyre any good?

    • Cant go wrong with Mcdonalds

    • they're not bad.
kind of taste like the custard you get frozen from woolies in the shell of your normal maccas apple pie

    • Yummo!

    • There's a few reviews here haha, I asked this the other day when I noticed it in the app: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/389115

      • Cheers :) I tried it tonight. It was nice, but I still like the apple pies more!

  • +1

Remember when Apple Pies were for a Dollar?

  • +2

They need to bring back the Salted Caramel Pies

    • +1

Chocolate pies too, those were the best since the $1.50 or whatever included an ice cream amount equivalent to a soft serve

Custard pie was meh when I tried one unfortunately

  • +2

The Fat Bastard Factor is high

  • Anyone ever tried making these at home?
My life lost meaning after they stopped making the salted caramel pie last time.

  • Thanks OP! Way cheaper than the local rub n tug.

    • They're free though? 😂

  • Apple pies weren't available on the app, weird
