Same here. I did some price comparisons with adidas/superdry/nike direct along with The Hut and everything on Iconic on this sale is at Full RRP compared to the others where they are on sale significantly lower. Combining AMEX and cashrewards with this offer still makes this a more expensive option! Maybe someone else can get lucky on other items.

Amex is doing $40 off $200 spend, which you can stack with this
bear in mind, if you spend $200, the cart value becomes $150, and your AMEX offer wont stack with this!
The final cart value payment should be $200!
For the amex offer to stack, you have to spend $270, cart value becomes $200 and then the amex $40 will stack!
So its $110 discount of a $270 spend!

To those who have linked Mastercard to their Qantas account, don't forget to use it if you don't have the Amex offer to get 800 Qantas points (over $100 spend) and also use their online mall link to stack up with cashrewards for 5x points per dollar.
Please change title/description to make sure people aware, it is not cashback, it is a credit from AMEX. So you do not get $40 off. You get $40 to spend, some people may not want to spend more.
You might be mistaken.. This deal isn't related to Amex but you can stack with the Amex deal if you have one and saved the offer. Also credit from Amex doesn't mean you spend more, the credit reduces your statement balance.
No, I am referring to the stack with Amex card offer, $40 credit from $200 spend, meaning you get a $40 Iconic credit.
But you don't… It's not a $40 iconic credit but a statement credit. It's also not related to this deal because this deal is about the discount applied to your cart automatically after you have met the amount with the eligable products.

the word credit in AMEX is a statement credit. You pay $200 to the iconic, and Amex refund $40 as a credit back to your card mostly within 7 business days ! bottom line is, you have to spend min $200 to get the $40 credit card. Whether you spend $200 or $203 … it is upto you.

Well I got some stuff that was actually a bargain because it was RRP and I couldn’t get it cheaper anywhere else. I had been eyeing them off on iconic for ages waiting for a sale.
Got the 2 things I wanted (cheapest elsewhere $190 combined) plus 2 other things I can still use for a total of $145 after all the discounts and credits.
I just made a $245 purchase on The Iconic but only received the 10% ($3.31) in my Cashrewards account for the sale and not the $50 as per this promotion. Can anyone advise how this works? Is it supposed to show up on your account right away or will it be applied to your Cashrewards account later?
$50 off @ checkout is an Iconic promotion not Cashrewards.

For some reason I read that as cashrewards promo, my bad.
Actually the cashrewards amount that I received is still incorrect as 10% on a $245 transaction should've come to $24.50 cashrewards not $3.45. I will need to chase up cashrewards.

iconic is a joke, bought a pair of shoes last month, they canceled it 1 day order was made. Made another purchase and they canceled it again. Both times due to no stock. Such a time waster. Will not buy again.
Always with the "Selected styles and colours" condition. The iconic sales are so lacklustre.
