I think the previous deal on ebay included a pen but I don't think this one does. It seems the cheapest price at this point in time - even beating the student discount from Microsoft (10%).

Interestingly, I spoke with the Microsoft salesperson in store the other day and they said there is a 9% discount for people who have an ABN. DIdn't try so not sure how accurate that was.

I did pull the trigger on this though - need it for the occasional gaming, CAD, video editing and also to highlight plans on the fly as well as e-textbooks for uni.

  You sure it's an actual discount and not that person suggesting that you can get your GST back?

  Just hope you don’t have a problem. I had a bad experience and needed eBay to resolve hence can’t recommend this seller. Ended up paying more at Harvey but at least got some service. Check google reviews of the store. Sums up my experience

    Saw that today as I've been eyeing this off.

    Overall more positive experiences than negatives (even just looking at those purchasing surface products) but easy to give good service if the units and fine and delivered on time its when there's a problem that it counts.

    Still as long as its genuine AU stock I've always found MS warranty services to be pretty good if there's issues.

      Just know if you buy from third party ms replace with refurbished not new
      Even if doa
