Nintendo Switch Console (Both Colours) $389 @ JB Hi-Fi

161

$10 cheaper than EB Games directly.
They also have Octopath Traveller for $69 (today only).

EB’s eBay store have it cheaper outright for $379.05 with the PENNY5 code - but if you’ve got some gift cards to use this might be a better option.

  • where does it say $69 today only?
Deciding whether I should get it now or 6 months later when it's cheaper, after I've finished other Switch games and some steam games from the recent sale.

    • It says in the email today only

      • Oh ok, thanks. I'm not on the mailing list.

    • It says it in the email. (edit: oops, took too long to log in ;) )

Literally not cheaper. Penny5 at EB eBay store. $379.05. Click and collect

    • Good pickup, I didn’t see that. I’ve edited the post - I was referring to $10 cheaper than their website directly.

Still, this should help those of us out there with some JB gift cards to burn.

    • If you got access to Suncorp benefits - buy the JB HI FI eGift card from there - brings price down to $369.55

Literally not cheaper there either. $358 delivered here

If you got access to this you can get 8% off gift cards too for further discount

      • Nice find. Club-Catch seems a bit pricey though.

        • -2

There is atleast a good deal each month. You pay $6 for club catch per month and if you picked up a good deal each month. Then it paid for itself

Yep, but i can't go pickup today at that price! EB still cheaper for pickup and they all have decent stock

        • -1

Not everyone has a car or an EBGames store next to their place. How do you equate it to be cheaper? Do you think catch don’t have decent stock?

        • -2

@Jimmy007: Whatever, it's still the cheapest for walk into store and collect, than have to wait for misdelivered deliveries.

        • -1

@Damonator84: how many misdelivered deliveries do you get? Do you never shop online?

        • -2

          @Jimmy007:
Once again the whole point of my comment was to alert OP that it is cheaper via click and collect at EB TODAY AND PLAY TODAY! Not have to wait for it to be delivered like in your case.

  • +1

I was looking at the Switch as I had got the $200 JB Voucher through signing up with Telstra. Yesterday this was listed at $449 on their website so it's a significant drop but not the cheapest the Switch is currently/has been.

  • Dope.. this means i can price match with BigW and take a further 5% off with Wish eGiftcard making it $369.55

    • Excuse my ignorance, where does it state that BigW Price match? Didn't know they did.

      • +1

I think they do if you ask.

        • +2

I did ask once, and they knocked me back
Perhaps it depends on who you are dealing with

    • Pretty sure they don't price match, but EB does and you can buy EB gift cards with wish ones, which gives the same result.

    • I have price matched games in bigw for ages now.. I don’t know where it states it but I always said to the sales people that I’d like to price match.. they sometimes ask me to call the store so they can state if the item is still in stock, but thats about it.. always honoured the pricematch in BigW Auburn and Macquarie
