  • Nice price.

Who can comment on typical delivery time from this crowd ?

I ordered a 16GB microSD from mymemory.co.uk on xmas eve, still nothing received (paypal dispute opened) so I need to order a replacement.

    • Your order has been successfully confirmed! You will receive a confirmation email from us shortly. Your item will be shipped after the payment is cleared. Typical processing time is 2 - 7 business days, although most orders are shipped the next day after payment is cleared. Thank you for your business.

      Thats what they say..

If they do ship next day after payment should receive in 3 days.. see what happens :) You can pay via paypal so all good.

      • At least they have a direct no. and "showroom". Called them before sometimes ago, sound good guys!
Unfortunately they are in Melbourne, so adding postage to Sydney, make most of their product not too attractive.
        MORE FREE shipping offers?

    • I ordered a Sony Sandisk Memory Duo Pro the other week. They delivered quickly fine. It was aussie post that held it in their post office without leaving me a card. Had to ring Melb twice to get the tracking number. Nice folks to deal with. Highly recommended.

Neg the deal if the coupon doesn't work, not before you even try it. Geez.

And yes, I've tried it…the code works.

        • -2

so? It's not this price unless you use the code.

How do you propose to have the product available with a discounted price using this code?

        • +1

You have to create an account with nearly every online store. Do you neg every deal that requires you to enter in a coupon code?
Why would the code not be valid, he's the rep posting the code, why post false code, just to piss people off…? Your logic makes no sense, your laziness is extreme.

    • +1

      Move on, mate.

"Voting negative as the price the vendor states ISN’T what the website shows (as linked to by the vendor)." —> and you've been clearly proven wrong

    • +2

Your silly post was negged 5+ times so your silly neg vote gets revoked.

    • the bottom line is that the code works and the price is as described.

Surely given these facts you would have revoked the neg anyway… right?

    • +2

Negative votes are are automatically removed once enough users vote against your comment.

      • So does 5 negative votes on someones positive vote for a deal remove the positive on the deal (not the comment) as it happens for a negative vote? If not that's just more positive vote stacking on OzBargain (and not fair as it should work both ways). Of cause its hard to give a negative vote on a comment when there is no need for someone to make a comment when voting positive on a deal. Again just more positive vote stacking. There should be a limit of 5 positive per day as there is for negatives as otherwise its again just more positive vote stacking.

        • Totally agree!

    • .

  • Just bought one!

wallet feels lighter though :( gotta make up for this by filling up the card to the max :D

    • Well lets us know if you get 8GB or 16GB.

      • It does say 16 gig in tittle…

  • This will go sweet with my Canon 1D.

  • ordered one, thanks OP, nice find! :)

  • +1

Can IT Device Rep please confirm he following? (Sorry to be such a pain, but got 'ripped' before)

    http://www.itdevice.com.au/live/product_info.php?products_id…

    • If this is the item, then the description says 'Lexar 8GB Class 4 MicroSDHC'. Please change it so that it avoids any confusion. Thanks.

    • Also, apart from the title, how can we confirm its class-4? Not knowing much, normally there should be a class-X circle on the items shouldn't they? Or is there something I may have missed. Thanks.

    • You beat me to it… Pity I cannot delete my comment.

    • +1

Sorry for the typo which has been fixed now. This is truly a 16GB Micro SDHC Class 4 card. You will see the number 4 on the real card when it's delivered.

  • How come the description says Lexar 8GB Class 4 MicroSDHC on the Web site? Specs. does say 16GB… Hm….

    • -5

It will be amusing if it is 8GB and not 16GB (as I didn't buy it (or ripped off)).

  • +1

Since when did Ozbargain comment pages look like this?
I remember when we were a community and we didn't bicker constantly, now we are just whirlpool with a different color scheme.

    • Sad when people call opinions or things they dont like whingeing, i dont agree with some comments but i dont call them whingers, keyboard warriors maybe!

  • +2

Sorry guys for the typo. It has been fixed. This is truly a 16GB Micro SDHC card.

  • +1

    This is an excellent deal!
    Thanks!

    • YEAH awesome deal.. thanks

  • Pretty good price.

  • I bought one this morning. Too good to pass up.

My delivery address is a little abnormal, and I got a phone call to confirm it, followed by a shipping notice an hour or so ago.

Very impressed with everything about these guys so far!

  • Ordered mine at 4.30am, received email saying it has been dispatched 5.00pm.

    Very good service. +ve!

  • Another purchased. Cheapest I could find was MSY/CPL for $38 which I think is Class 2.

  • got one, hopefully I will receive it soon :)

  • +1

To me this is probably a scam. I live not far away from this shoddy shop in Maistone VIC (the name on the shop is different, IT device is just one of their several fronts). The last time they advertised something similar (micro SD Sandisk) on Ozbargain, I rang for store pickup and guess what I had to ring 5 or 6 times. Every single time the guy on the other end said the stock would come "in an hour", then "tomorrow", then "this afternoon", etc. I actually did come to the shop and was offered a Kingston card at a higher price and it looked quite suspicious too in my opinion. I would stay away from this joint. My 2 cents.

    • should have said this earlier… lets see if it arrives or if I have to open a paypal dispute!

      • It arrived today, will test it tomorrow

  • I know little about Lexar brand other than stores have their products on special often, I can get a Kingston micro sd class 4 for $30 would I be better off with that?

    • afaik Lexar is a sub division (or similar) of Crucial (reasonably popular RAM makers from across the sea). They're both reliable brands and both the same class of card, so I'd think there wouldn't be much difference between the two. Also factor in free shipping on this deal if you haven't already done that.

      Ed:

Lexar was acquired by Micron Technology in 2006, and subsequently merged with Crucial Technology under the name Lexar Media, a subsidiary of Micron

(Yes I do have wikipedia posting skills :P)

  • Thanks for the info, although I haven't heard of Crucial either but as long as they're reliable I guess.
    Yes it does include postage,

  • Good price but class 4 is too slow. They have class 10 cards now.

  • First person to get buy this, please post some speed tests with h2test. Need to see how this card stacks up compared to the newer sandisks.

    • +3

      Ok here you go.
      Purchased Monday night, received today.

Warning: Only 15262 of 15263 MByte tested.
      Test finished without errors.
You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again.
      Writing speed: 10.7 MByte/s
      Reading speed: 16.6 MByte/s
      H2testw v1.4

      • Thanks so much. I ordered two for my psp, and I got the exact same speed.
These must be the best for this price mark, certainly beats out sandisk ;)

  • Please post when you get your card, thanks!

Got my card today and the test is showing it is defective: "32 KByte DATA LOST (64 sectors)"

Warning: Only 15262 of 15263 MByte tested.
The media is likely to be defective.

      Reading speed: 15.2 MByte/s
      H2testw v1.4

      • does it mean the cards are all defective? or is this normal??

        • +2

I dont know if this within acceptable limits/error/tolerance for a card of this size, but a second card gave the following test data close (same capacity but slightly slower) to that reported by floorpie:

Warning: Only 15262 of 15263 MByte tested.
          Test finished without errors.
You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again.
          Writing speed: 9.95 MByte/s
          Reading speed: 16.4 MByte/s
          H2testw v1.4

I am currently re-testing the first card above and will let you know the outcome.

      • +2

After running the test a second time, the bad sectors have been removed and the total number of writable sectors has beeen reduced. My question, is this worth making a claim/return etc?

Warning: Only 15250 of 15251 MByte tested.
        Test finished without errors.
You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again.

I'm having the same issue, and it is not copying data over to the card. It stops after a certain amount of data has been transferred then exporer.exe stops responding.

    • Bad interface maybe? :?

      • Tested via SD adapter in a laptop card reader port, surely the adapter doesn't reduce speed?

        • Not sure, but I supposed it might be a possibility considering your numbers are so much lower.

        • Thought the same, tested in my phone via usb and got similar if not lower speeds.

        • Maybe the card is dodgy :?

  • Expired already?
