    always love the artscow freebies!

  • How do these guys make any money if everything is free ? . Are their prints any good ?

    • Not sure?
But yes very happy with their quality so far. Haven't tried their photoalbum yet.

my gf bought a photobook from them, only arrive after 2 months of ordering. i think they mentioned somewhere that delivery will take only about 14 days or so..(cant quite recall, but less than 3 weeks for sure), but my gf received only after 2 months. in the end, the item arrived from Hong Kong and not from the US. I recommened NOT TO USE ARTSCOW!

      dont be a wank.

This is free, we know artscow has a slow delivery time, it normally takes ages but with the prices u can't complain.. what do u want? free things delivered express to your door in 2 days? Cmon.. how can u say NOT TO USE ARTSCOW" just because delivery takes a while

im recommending not to use them because they simply didnt do what they promise. i forgot to mention earlier that during the 2 months, when my gf asked them the progress(after 1 month of ordering, they said its being processed. they havent even posted it yet, so i suspect after 1 month of ordering, they have not produced it while they actually have the delivery time of 14 days or so..

and btw, the photobook are meant to be a birthday gift, as a result of the 2 months delivery time, no photobook for the person meant to receive.

ArtsCow state on their website that the products ship from HK. They have updates on their site when there are delays in processing or shipping. If you require something for Christmas, or any special event really, it is well known that you must order well in advance; yes up to 2 months, especially for photo books!! Chinese New Year is also another time when there are postal delays. I stand by their products, they are second to none in price and quality. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone. You get what you pay for…in this case you get more, however, you might have to wait a bit longer for it…a small thing in the scheme of things if you're organised!

        • yeah it's a bit of a fine line to be on to order something for a b'day or christmas, but i've gotten heaps of personalised things for my g/f.. ie.. heart-shaped keyrings and such trinkets for only about a dollar or two.. yes.. the shipping is slow so i don't recommend ordering for a special occasion if it is coming up.. u need to give some time, but the products are really cheap and well worth it

Artscow never say anything will arrive from the USA

but my gf received only after 2 months

The time it takes to be delivered is beyond the control of artscow (or any company you buy something from and have it posted to you).
Postage from Hong Kong can be slow but there is always the option of FedEx shipping.

      • i disagree with this. I love artscow and its true you have to accept that shipping takes a while. But most ebay sellers from hong kong manage to ship in around a week. Artscow is excessively slow for Hong Kong to Australia.

        • But most ebay sellers from hong kong manage to ship in around a week.

Nothing i have ordered from artscow has been slower than anything I have ordered from ebay hong kong.

If you were ordering from artscow (or a hong kong ebay seller) around any major holiday (Halloween, valentines day etc) then the delivery time will be much slower due to the amount of orders from around the world being placed with Chinese stores. This creates a large backlog for the chiniese post offices causing slower delivery times for many weeks before and after the holiday.

Artscow is excessively slow for Hong Kong to Australia.

Artscow does not deliver the package, once they have given it to the post office the delivery time is beyond their control, just the same as an ebay seller.

how much is the shipping i wonder?

    • The shipping price is $3.99 +$2.99 for each additional book.

I've actually had pretty good experiences with AC so far (knock on wood). I was expecting two weeks plus after shipping for a $2 keychain a couple of weeks ago and it arrived 6 business days after I ordered it. Other stuff has taken longer, so I was really surprised by the keychain getting to me so quickly.

That being said, if you're after it on a strict timeframe, I'd order with several weeks to spare or order at a more expensive place where you're more likely to get a quick turnaround.

  • I just opened an account now, and I keep getting the following error when I attempt to add the voucher/code.

"Sorry, it is ONE PER HOUSEHOLD.
If you want to get more free photo book credits, click here for more details."

Anyone else had a similar issues? Maybe the offer has expired?

    • I think artscow only allows the coupon to be used once per IP address as I have seen the same error when trying to apply coupons from my work computer. If i try at home the coupon which did not work can be added to my account.

If you are trying to add the coupon from your work try when you are at home. If you are at home then someone else in your house has an artscow account and has already used the coupon.

      • I'm sitting behind my work proxy, so I suspect someone has beaten me to it :)

        I'll try from home. Thx.

  • I just made a new account because I forgot the old one. I am happy to say that I am very happy with the quality of Artscow products (even thought delivery times have been around a month).
I wondering if this deal can be used in conjunction with:
"Insert coupon code DISCOUNT25P during checkout to get 25% off all items (excluding prints)"
    Has anyone tried it ?

how would you get 25% off something that was free?

    • It should work if you have something else in your order which is not free. You would get 25% off the items which you are paying for.

This page http://vouchercodes.ca/bargains/artscow-discount-codes/ says the 25% off code has expired

      • AC website shows the 25% discount code is still available. Look for the banner at the top of the home page.
