An Australian citizen, permanent resident or humanitarian visa holder

It is unconstitutional to discriminate based on state of residence.

        • +9

Well, if you are willing to fly (or walk, or ride a kangaroo) from Perth to Sydney whenever you have a lesson… then I don't see a reason for them to reject your application.

        • why so?

        • Link to section of constitution where this is mentioned?

        • No it isnt lol

        • @whitty: It's the gist of it…

        • @canyoudoitcheaper:

          It's the vibe?

        • unconstitutional to discriminate based on state of residence

Even assuming this statement is true, they haven't done so.

Live or work in New South Wales

If you live in Perth but work in Broken Hill, you're eligible.
          (I wonder how they check?)

        • @whitty: Here you go…
          http://classic.austlii.edu.au/au/legis/cth/consol_act/coaca4…

I look forward to every dumbass on here eating their words.

        • @blaircam:

I'm not sure asking for evidence is reason to suggest I'm a Dumbass.

And according to Abb above, they haven't…

edit: thanks for getting back to me though.

        • @whitty: So you are relying on the opinion of someone who was wrong in the first place to continue to be wrong…???
          Enjoy that.
And I didn't specifically suggest you are a dumbass - I was talking to all the idiots who wrongly claimed it was not in fact part of the constitution.

      • So if someone has completed schooling and a bachelors degree but from overseas, do they qualify for any of these courses?

        • Whether or not someone chooses to disclose such information is up to their personal discretion and moral compass. Going by the nature of a majority of the courses available, one would assume they’re to assist ESL individuals with employment in Australia, or people who are having difficulty gaining employment due to their lack of tertiary education.

      • 'No previous qualifications at Cert iv or higher'? i have a diploma so does that mean i'm not eligible?

  • anything for potential owner/builder to take?

    • Theres a construction course

  • False tiltle. It should be free certificate courses @tafensw

  • +2

    Nothing in fitness :(

    • No skills shortage in this area maybe a surplus.

  • Nothing for WA?
