eBay going hard on the Plus stuff. I won't say no … until my trial runs out ;)

  • I have this under my offer as well (below) will it stay there if activate plus offer 1st?
Your eBay Free Selling Trial - Sell 10 items for free!
*Pay no insertion and final value fees on up to 10 items.

Your other offer should stay there until the expiration date runs out. I would activate the one with the shortest expiration first.

Correct! Thanks so much for letting me know ^-^ activated the plus offer 1st. cheers

  • Wow I was just going to do the $1 list and sell on Sunday day when this popped up thank you sir eBay plus trial coming in handy.

  • can i just stop my old listings and relist them?

or just leave them and it still applies?

    • You need to relist

    • You need to cancel and relist. It's littetially only a few clicks to do this.

      • live chat confirms relist is ok.

        thank you

Just signed up to eBay plus, but don't see that offer :(

  • All I'm getting from that link is a page to sell my items which says "Free Fixed Price & Auction Listings" and has tje number 40, but it doesn't mention final value fees or have a activation button.

    • That one only waives the listing fee. Pretty useless, everyone gets that one.

    • Are you an existing ebay plus member?

      • Yes (I am, same problem)

  • for some reason, still getting charged final value fees despite accepting offer

    • You already listed and sold? that was quick

      • nah just when listing the item, Iam being told I will be charged final value fees

        • +1

Ignore that, that's the default listing message, you won't be charged.

  • actually same for me…no zero final value fee.

    only this

Free Fixed Price & Auction (Collectables only) Listings

    offer is pointless for me.

    • Try to look for an offered called: eBay Plus Exclusive: List & Sell 5 Items for Free

  • Does anyone have the RSVP link for this one? OP's link still takes me through to a bulk sell page (weird!)

  • Just wondering, even if the promotion expired, Ebay wont charge for final fee??? Or I have to sell the items before the promotion expire

    • +1

Only need to be listed within the promo period. They will maintain their no-fee status until they are relisted.

      • Cooool but it seems like Paypal is taking the final fee…

        • PayPal has always taken a payment processing fee.

        • @Poppin:
          sheepshaggers..

  • Different offers, I got this and list three items.

Thanks OP! is there a way to get to that promotion page from my eBay?

    • +1

I stumbled across that page several years ago, but I can't see where it's currently linked from in "account settings".

I just keep it booked marked, and check it whenever I want to sell something. That's how I stumbled across this promo this morning.

      • Cool! Will do the same :)

  • I've just listed an item for sale, and then on my eBay selling overview page, under 'Selling Promotions', I read this:

Pay no Insertion & Final Value Fees for your next 5 listings. T&Cs apply. Learn More

'Learn More' was hyperlinked, and upon clicking it, I'm taken to a page where the first dot point is…

This seems to include a 10.9% final value fee. I know that by the name of the promo that you would think this wouldn't apply, but I'm hoping someone can confirm this, just to be sure.

    • This is normal… Just ignore these references. You will not incur fees if you've accepted the offer.

  • Didn't get the deal signed up EBay plus yesterday you buy the nas….. =/

What it should look like if you are targeted: https://i.imgur.com/5bRsvrM.png

  • got it - thanks OP!

  • eBay keeps charging the final valuation fees even though I have taken up these offers :-(
    A big time waster.

    • Happened to me twice (from about 60 fee free listings). I just jumped on the "chat" support page, and they reversed the FVF.

  • Signed up and relisted an item, however a free listing only promo has instead applied to this item rather than this eBay Plus promo - is this happening to anyone else and is there a simple way to choose the promo that applies to your listing?

    • +1

There is no way to select which promo it uses, but by default, it should always use the promo with the greatest discount (in this case free) that is expiring the soonest.

I can only suggest you cancel the listing again, log out of eBay, and try again.
