I just ordered this one for $40, 30cm & free shipping with prime - https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B01M74A279/ref=oh_aui_d…

I agree. I much prefer the 30 cm. Anything under is not too practical.

    • Is that the best price for this size? Never use iron cast pan , feel give it a try if there is a best buy

    • Looks like your pan will be included in the Prime Day sale!! The pan is scheduled for 11:50

    • Just sold out at the $29.99 prime price. Now $39.99

Looks good but will it stop a Kar98 bullet?

    • Username checks out.

    • Depends if you can find a server

    • Depends on how many cheats are playing.

i think i have too many lodge pans in my homes already. enough to survive a few wars.

  • does it including GST?

Is there some way to search only international prime postage items? I’m just under the $49 and trying to find something to get me over for free shipping…

  • Says pre-seasoned but is it worth seasoning again or just bacon grease for a few weeks?

    • +2

with lodge pans, u need to actually sand them to remove factory seasoning and smooth the surface, as it comes very rough out of the factory.
      this might help - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljSQrSoSYAE

      • Thanks mate will try the pre-seasoning for a bit and if it's unsatisfactory I'll sand it and reseason. My other cast iron's due a reseasoning anyway!

Rough surface is there help hold the patina.

        • thanks dude. I won't bother sanding then =D

    • I had a look up as well. Should be able to get away with just three quick seasons, (grease + smoking heat not in the oven). The rough surface still allows it to be non-stick just not as non-stick as a smooth one.

  • Just got a mini wok from Amazon US.. pretty awesome quality compared to my previous cast iron.
I haven't used it yet, though it looks a little bit too mini for my use.

  • OP can you explain how prime shipping works on US items? do you get free shipping on any items sold by AMAZON US as long as total order value is over $49 USD? can I order anything I want like a TV?

      FREE Standard International Delivery
Get free delivery on eligible orders over $49 shipped from Amazon US when you shop from amazon.com.au.
Need to look at individual items to see if eligable (unlikely that bulky items will be)

      More info here

    • So what I did was: I put it one of the pans in the cart and it said I needed $49 spend to qualify for free international shipping. Pretty sure you can order almost anything you like, once you get to the checkout page where you select shipping (it's on the right hand side), it'll notify you whether you qualify for free Prime shipping.

      Good luck!

  • Wasn't there some coupon or something going around (a way to get a discount, $10-20 maybe?) on Amazon US? Not the Amazon AU new user coupon, but one specifically used from the US store. I think it was ebay US.
