  • +1

You should bundle it with a power supply at a reasonably higher cost

  • +2

Thoughts on using these as dummy cameras? At this price it is roughly the same as a fakie.

    • -1

It has all the required mounts and screws, so yes, by all means. It looks more real than those fake ones ;)

  • +1

Camera is 1.0MP, avoid buying unless you want blurry footage. Better than nothing though I guess?
    Use this as a reference

    • -1

Your reference is exactly what it is. 1.0MP is 720p, and that’s considered High Definition (HD). There aren’t many cameras at this price with such resolution anyway.

  • -2

for true superior analog video with NTSC video format

Does it use VHS or Beta ?

    • +1

Only if your device supports to encode CVBS mode with 960H resolution.

  • Has it got motion detection? How do I see / save videos or pictures?

    • -1

You need an existing system. This just adds another camera to your existing system.

      • I don't have an existing system? What all do I need then?

  • +2

Factor in the (obsolete) analogue video recording system you need to find at an antique store and this might have an interest to those filming 80s period pieces. ;)

Sorry for the harsh humour, but this camera really is rather old tech by today's standards. Hell, the required power supply might even need to be AC, the way some of these used to be set up back in the day.

    • Not practical for unknown brand

    • Power supply is DC.
