Leaked photos of the Mavic Pro 2 came out. Perhaps a new Spark on the horizon too? That said, I love my Spark and this is an amazing price. I took my Spark through Europe recently (responsibly) and the smaller drone draws wayyyy less attention than its bigger brothers. It's also amazingly capable, I've flown in strong winds over the sea with no problems. Hoping the next iteration has 4K and more flight time (battery capacity) but there is only so much tech they can pack in and keep it so small and light!
Took my Spark up Baw Baw on the weekend, flew it around the north side (ski slopes) and at a safe distance/height nobody even noticed it. I have 6 batteries and it's limited range is a good thing, keeps it within sight. Great drone to start with and see if you get into drones before you splurge on a bigger one.
Am interested in seeing the next generation.
Thinking of taking mine to Europe/Scandinavia this year but on the fence at this stage. What countries did you visit? Bit unsure about different laws and taking it on a few flight transfers.
I know you mentioned the range thing being a plus but if you ever feel like you need more range, look up FCC vs CE on the spark. I went from 600m in CE to 1600m in FCC mode with my Mavic Air. Keep in mind this was in a bushy area with industrial area close by so results will vary.
Pretty sure "changing" the wifi mode can work on the spark as well.

Great deal on a great drone!
I've had my Spark for about 4 months now and the quality of the images blows everyone away. Currently in Europe on a two month trip and it's been a very capable little drone. As someone else said, it definitely draws way less attention that larger drones I've seen over here.For anyone who has or is thinking about getting one, definitely get the controller (as in this deal) and look into FCC mode. I'm getting about 2km of range without any dropouts at all. I'm also using a right angled otg cable from ebay.
Google "dji go 4 mod" and enjoy!
Got mine yesterday, one of the batteries is faulty - only shows a red light on the charger. What a pain!
