just curious, how to claim the warranty issues with Sydneytec? contact them or go direct to logitech? I just claimed one yesterday a 4 months old UE boom 2 from Good guys and they found a faulty charger and replaced me with a brand new box on the spot.
Logitech will tell you to go to the retailer. In my experience when the retailer had closed down, I simply sent them my serial number and they shipped me out a new mouse. Not sure if you'd have a different experience however, but I found them to be quite good.

Yeah easily. They get pretty damn loud.
Really really loud. You can even buy 2 and link them up for stereo effect too.
Really loud but bass drops a little if you're playing it on max volume. But i think the Megaboom is much better than the Boom in terms of specs.
personally I think JBL Charge 3 is better than boom 2 for only about $35 more at good guys or officeworks for $145. Louder, better Bass and longer battery life. Boom 2 will get distorted if you play at 100% volume, while Charge 3 handle well.
Charge 3 is better, Xtreme is even better than Charge 3
Yes, the megaboom must be better but still could be louder.

if you want to spend on Bose Soundlink Revolve than it's hand's down Bose is better Sounding compared to UE boom 2. But if Battery life and ruggedness, UE boom 2 is better.
A few of my friends have these. I don't think they are the best individually, but still feeling left out when they do the link-up thing
