Definitely get the fly more. I've got the spark and controller. It's functionality and range is extremely limited without the controller.

There's a reason why this is sitting at 0% claimed. The controller alone cost more than the price difference with the Fly More Combo.
On top of that you get a second battery, 2 more props, prop guards, charging hub and shoulder bag with the FMC.
If you love the idea of a drone, but can't afford a spark, grt a tello with a cheap wifi range extender. They are great quality and very fun. If you want a drone for photography, get a spark or better.
How does this range extender work? I have a xiaomi wifi usb repeater.
It's a little bit fiddly, but there are af ew YouTube videos to help. The Xiaomi one should work fine, but you will need a mobile power bank, $5 at Kmart, to power it outside. With the extender I get uninterrupted control and video way beyond normal. There is also an app to make the tello fly to a ceiling of 30m, beyond the 10m it is factory set for.

Totally not worth it. Spend the extra $139 or regret this purchase for life!
