Now it makes sense why no one was able to figure out what it was

Deal has been revealed and I still don't know where the texture came from…

So has to be in store? I can't find psn card in their home page

  • I'd probably just prefer to buy the gift card from woolworths with a 5% off woolworths egift card

  • +1

I already got too much credit from the last EB Fortnite bucks offer

  • +4

So let me get this straight they are giving away items that must've been given away as part of game if you pre-ordered?
    Ummm okay

    • Looks like it. I remember when I worked at Harvey Norman in 2008, the manager for Computers had about 30 sealed steel books of Soulcalibur IV sitting in his office.

They really dropped the ball on this one…neither of these freebies are keepers, that’s clear!

Probably got a lot of people off side with this deal - people will be cross!

They’ve had a good run, but that’s strike one for EB Games. If this is how they think they can tackle the Amazon problem, they won’t stay a head for long, and Amazon will corner the market (which is obviously their goal)!

    • Be will still make money from trade ins where mums offload good games for a pittance. Ebmight just end up matching amazon prices eventually If u ask.

      • +1

I don't want them to match Amazon prices lol. Bought FIFA 18 for $9.99 and EB traded me $15 or so for it (not an EB World member)

        • Can you trade in for cash?
I thought you could only trade for credit.
And what difference does it make if whethe or not you're an EB World member?

    • Shouldn't strike one be cancelling everyone's orders of Wolfenstein?

      • "Everyone" I received mine in the mail. No issues whatsoever.

      • I got my copy (for XB1), but I imagine if your order was cancelled without providing a substitution, you might feel so angry you want to take to their shopfront with a club! At the very least, it would leave a foul taste in your mouth about buying from EB Games on the net. Even if they do have decent deals for the rest of the week, that might not be enough to save them when you've got a chip on your shoulder about your cancelled order - what a flop!

In the meantime, if you are looking to dive into something else completely different, I am someone who Champions League of Legends. Or if you're looking for something with more of an artistic World Cup-head is also great!

This is not my technical area of expertise, so I may have hit a wall. Just let me know if you want me to shut the FA-Cup. Or perhaps the mods might give me the boot!

  • I'm taking it that this isn't an official Jersey and just something similar to the free FA shirt SportsDirect were going to give?

    • +2

Maybe they got it free from SportsDirect.

    • I think its those EA Sports jerseys….

    • Sports Direct are still giving their jersey away but you have to collect it.

  • +3

Well, at least there is Far Cry 5 and God of War around the corner for those people that don't want this.

  • I bought $20 of Xbox Live Credit this morning and got the Fifa T-shirt for my son. It's a nice looking shirt, but it is 100% polyester. RRP was $50. LoL.

    • To be fair, Soccer shirts retail for $120. It's not that bad.

      • That's not their value though - that's licencing and 400%-ish markup.
You can buy a generic kid's soccer jersey for $6 in Decathlon and Kmart.

  • We had a good run.

    • -5

      Not really.
Wolfenstein and AC Origins were the only 'deals' to be had. FC5 is a trash game and not worth even $20 and God Of War probably won't be on that big of a sale just yet.
