Not cold enough to warrant hand warmers.
Even in -15C weather I don't like seeing people crack these open, use for a short time and then toss. Creates a lot of garbage.
That's true. I've lived in -10 degrees, and even then, gloves were fine. Gloves and mug of hot chocolate.

Better off getting g a usb rechargeable one.
These ones should be biodegradable, inside is iron, water, charcoal, salt and vermiculite. All biodegradable.
And to my knowledge the outside of the warmer is made of wood fibre, also biodegradable.
The plastic packaging can be recycled at Coles or Woollies.
Produce to create the product is part of the waste too.

This seems awfully wasteful.
I bought some of these for an overnight event, was really disappointed. They took over 20 mins to start working and even then barely warmed up. Apparently the Daiso or other Japanese ones are better :/
can i use it on my feet? i work in -20 degrees freezer it gets ridiculously cold for the feet sometimes
Maybe don't wear thongs to work.
Not these ones, they have toe warmers. These ones need some air circulation to work but the toe warmers are good in your shoes.
Wife bought a pack of these for our ski trip last year and we never used them.
We packed them again this year and still haven't used them.
Actually… how cold does it get in Queensland anyway?
