    Also $2 cheesy bbq burger

    • $2 Cheesy bbq burger might be targetted…only got 2 for $6 deal

      • +4

It’s not targeted. You’ll find it on the regular menu under McClassics.

    • I tried that, waaaaaay too much BBQ sauce in them.

      • +8

Remove BBQ sauce, order free ketchup (x100 cos you can), $2 cheeseburger.

        • Best hack. My kid likes the BBQ sauce on HJ burgers, but Maccers? Not so much.

        • it does not allow that on the app, sneaky bastards, i wonder if they would even allow it if we ask at the counter/window? one call always ask for the ketchup sachets but they might not remove the bbq sauce

How I wish we had the 1,2,3 dollar menu from McDonalds US.

An original McChicken and any size soda for $1 each (+tax)…

That was my goto if I needed something quick while I was there

It was around $3.80 US for a Big Mac and a Large drink when I went there. And the Big Mac's were actually a reasonable size.

Was so much better value, but no wonder America is so fat lol

      • Larger buns in the US but the same amount of meat and cheese. Aussie one tends to have more lettuce, I find.

Drinks are a whole other level. Their small is bigger than our large.

Edit: real question is though, if you're in the US why aren't you eating at 5 guys? Pricing difference here between maccas and places like grilld is huge. Between maccas and 5 guys is nothing, especially once you factor in the free peanuts

McD's aint that cheap in the US anymore either. Big Mac was USD$4.89 on its own in May when i was there. 20 Nuggets were USD$6. Only kinda cheap things were soft drinks, with free refills.

        • While true, their app has a $1 sandwich deal that renews each day. Doesn't include their signature range though, but works for QP with Cheese and Big Macs. And Soda any size is also $1 with infinite refills if you eat there. Just came back a few days ago xD

Franchises must be pretty grumpy at all these deals, $5 mcoz deal basically makes every other $10 meal pointless

    • "$5 mcoz deal basically"

      What's that?

      • +1

If you're in Qld, it's a big (profanity) you.

        • Care to elaborate?

        • +1

@gadgetguy: not available in Qld. In the rest of the country you can get a small mcoz meal for $5. We get the double beef and bacon meal instead.

        • @Hardicus:

Well that must have changed today coz I got a mcoz $5 deal here in Q

        • @wosdam: some stores have been offering it I heard on here. The McOz isn't even on the menu at any of the places I've been, certainly not on the app.

  • thanks Op

  • it keeps saying i have an invalid email address even when i'm putting in a gmail account

    Bring back the McDouble! 🍔

    • bring back the mcrib

  • Is it the same patty used for cheeseburger and quarter pounder?

    • no.

      • What's the best? Quarter pounder or big Mac

        • +1

It sounds like you don't have much experience with McDonalds. May I suggest you keep it that way.

        • +1

@littletinyasianman: I'm a KFC guy but I'm open to new experiences.

        • +1

Quarter pounder is like a giant Maccers cheeseburger and has more meat (120g or just over a quarter of a pound) — great if you like regular cheeseburgers.

The Big Mac is for those who like a little lettuce and, of course, Big Mac's "special sauce". It also has less meat at 2 x 45.4g patties.

(yes, i just looked up wikipedia. sigh.)

        • @Member 0230: cheers. I always remove the lettuce, tomatoes, pickles etc so quarter pounder is the way to go I guess. Big Mac special sauce is just an extra 50c

Also free coffee " try our new barista blend" pops up. It ends tomorrow

  • I just realised that make your own creations is gone. I enjoyed being fancy and having my burger made to order and then delivered to my table with a basket of fries.

    • Oh hey, really?!? Must admit I don't usually go MYOC but they were a nice change from the regular fare.
