So basically what you're saying is that this is a no-bogan flight? Yeah that's, um… a real shame…

    travelled with RB airlines before
nice flight, decent food, no booze(does not bother me)
the transit at the RB airport sucks (reminds me of airports in the seventies)but its only 2-3 hours
You get a new appreciation for Singapore Airport after passing through Brunei airport

    • Totally agree with this review, although I flew the same route around 4 years ago now! Brunei airport though, the memories! Safe to say the most basic airport with one toilet for each sex and 2 small shops. The security in transfer lounge, which I presumed was a normal departure lounge, consisted of 1 bag scanner and office wall partitioning to segregate the "security checked" from the not checked, not the greatest but I'm still here typing this message so all good in the end!

Anyways, Royal Brunei, best flight I've had in a Dreamliner, lovely crew and the no booze actually does help ya although I was pretty sure you could take some alcohol on you just couldn't bring it into Brunei, but I can't remember now!

    • Agreed. Brunei airport is very very plain. Nothing wrong at all with flying this airline in my opinion. Flew then Melb to Manila.

  • Yep Brunei airport is ridiculously basic for an international airport. Worst part is there's no cooked food available in the departure terminal. There is a convenience store though where you can get cup noodles so you won't actually starve.

  • I didn't do this, but if you sign up to their FF program you can get into their lounge for about $40. Otherwise priority pass works too
