I believe it's $371.15 Delivered Here with "PERIPHERAL"?

    • Oh damn, didn't check eBay.

      • +1

And just while we're on the topic of ebay…
The one above is now ~$356

And quite a few people got this deal last month-
        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/384763
Me included. I paid $323.91 inc post.
This has been abt $360-$380 a number of times this year.

Few notes on using this for the last month.
I only use this for "office-ish" stuff- Cruising Ozbargain, ebay, watching YouTube… With the odd bit of website editing, coding, email etc.
You can fit a massive amount of stuff onscreen but it takes a bit to get the scaling right ( I settled on 140%)
You can "just run" this at 4K with the integrated graphics on the i3 4XXX (HD 4000), for office. Playing 4k video full screen is maybe 15fps, so not at all watchable.

The i3/i5 3XXX (HD2500) can only just squeak in 2k res.

Very short answer about "running a 4k monitor with a SFF size Dell/Hp size" "cheap off ebay" box like most of my computers are-
For office use and watching 4k video the best option is the Gt 1030.

I got this one below for $92.65.
        currently a good deal too-
        https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ASUS-GT1030-2GB-Low-Profile-PCIe…

        These are regularly ~$95 - $105 delivered.

  • damn, not IPS, its for office use not gaming so more after colours and view angle rather than speed.

Man i use to game on 4k on this, goes right.

    • Samsung makes good looking panels though

    • same, i was hoping to buy this to replace the 1080p monitor so i can view more rows in excel. never used 4K would this be possible? cheers in advance!

      • +1

Definitely - though depending on how far you sit from the monitor, whether you will be able to read those cells at minimum screen scaling is another issue: that's really going to come down to the size of the monitor. But if you have a sub-28" 1080p monitor right now? This will definitely let you read more rows. Many many more rows.

This is a very good monitor for 4K console gaming. Don’t let the TN screen put you off it’s very good. (I had one but have since switched to an Asus 4K TN gaming monitor).

  • No HDR?

    • Not that I can tell. This is a relatively older design - it was already out and discounted in 2016 after all. You'll have to look at 2018 models/designs if you want HDR because that's a very recent development.
