Been keeping my eyes on it for a while on Amazon and recently received an email for a better price @ Massdrop.

Keyboard itself costs $169.99 USD + shipping $12.75 USD
For comparison:
Amazon US is selling it for $199.99USD + Shipping or
Amazon AU is selling it for $300.56AUD + $25.6 Shipping

Estimated shipping date is: 29/08/2018 PT

There are a few accessories available with the drop, copy/pasted all in USD:

Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice of Cherry MX Blue, Brown, or Red switches. You can also add
Palm Pads (+ $10),
a V3 Pro Kit without palm supports (+ $20),
a Lift Kit with palm supports (+ $20),
an XL Mouse Pad (+ $20),
and a Vektor RGB Gaming Mouse (+ $35).

The V3 Pro Kit cannot be used with palm supports.

The lift kit in my opinion is a must have if you use split keyboards.

Get some of this if it bothers you.

I got some of the Peppa pig ones

  • Would this be considered ergonomic? I have a Microsoft ergonomic surface keyboard which I like but I also have a standard mechanical keyboard. I'm ideally looking for the best of both worlds

    • It is ergonomic. I have been using the MS Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard for 3 years now, which I believe is pretty much the same shape as the surface ergonomic keyboard with the number pad detached from the main body plus a B-cup sized mouse. I love the feeling of the keyboard and would like to get a mechanical one can do similar angles. I’ve been looking at this Keyboard plus the lift kit, the Infinity Ergodox and the VE.A Keyboard. Main reason stopping me from getting an ergodox is the effort it takes to get it, plus I can rarely see anyone selling it at a reasonable price. The VE.A has some additional keys and the Function keys which I like coz I need some level of short cuts when writing code without the need to remember key combinations. This left me the kinesis as the best choice. Personal opinion though.

Been looking out for one of these as well. Needed the split to accommodate my wacom. OP which one are you getting?

    • I’ll be using it in the office so I chose brown switch. Would be nice to have blue as well I guess. Need to make sure it’s not too annoying to the others.

Honestly, blues.. I just don't understand the fuss. I think it's because people consider them rarer.

I'm not a pro, but from basic tinkering on a 6 key trial set I bought, I think I'd go brown or red.

      • Yeah blues are not welcomed in my workplace. Got told it was too noisy. I'm leaning towards a brown!

  • The number 6 key is on the left hand side. I'll pass.

  • I haven't used massdrop before, when does the deal expire? I see it only ships August 29, can you order up to then?

    • I believe you only got 5 days left to put your order in and then wait for it until the end of August.

  • Hmmm very tempted, I had the microsoft ergo keyboard and it died, but its a fair amount of money for something I cant try…
