Good deal considering the size but don't forget to check that this fits in your fridge cavity.

    • Pretty sure this is the biggest fridge that most cavities are made for.

        780mm width, a 1730mm height, and a 730mm depth.

Most fridge cavities are around 800mm - 850mm width

        Nice post op!

        • Thanks - this is slightly outsized for fridge cavities in some brand new studio apartments.

@josho9: yeah studios are smaller and new units are even tinier!

This should fit most 1-2 bedroom apartments though

Good price but I will never get a fridge with the freezer on top again, it's such a pain as it's had to stack and stuff keeps falling out. The bottom mount with draws is soooo much better

most fridges work on sucking cold air from freezer to bottom for the fridge …. cold air has a natural tendancy (denser than warm air) to move down not up ….so it keeps fridge cold without having to use internal fan as often …

      • Yeah I prefer bottom mount freezer too. But you need to be aware that the fan can ice up and stop working, especially if you leave the door open accidentally. I have replaced the fan in our 10yo F&P bottom mount, $25 on eBay and 5 mins to fit it. The fan uses maybe 5W of power when it runs so I'd say its fairly negligible, just be aware it is a point of failure that top mounts don't have.

    Wow that's cheap!

4 star means $250 off in QLD, I bought a 441L of this and it's fantastic. I bought mine for $800 but it's silver :(

    • Not 100% sure, but I think the rebate has ended

      • The rebate is a yearly thing. It can be done any time, but submissions are only accepted certain parts of the year.

Edit: wait, it's not a yearly thing? This is just a NEW 6 month thing? wtf LOL

        • Appears to have ended.

The energy efficient appliance rebate scheme is now closed.

The $20 million scheme offered rebates up to $300 for eligible air conditioners, fridges and washing machines with a minimum 4 star energy efficiency rating purchased from 1 January 2018 to 3 June 2018.

        • @Rodgort: Yeah I thought it was a yearly thing though. Guess not!
