    he's kinda right.
    The 'k' is for how many pixels horizontally e.g: 4k = 3840 * 2160
    so 2k would be 1920 * 1080
    2560x1440 would be 2.5k

Great monitor, bought for around 880 a few months back, less to no backlight bleed, i really recommend it and it has better qc than the acer or asus monitors, although the design is pretty generic
