As I posted on the last deal:
Pretty sure this ebay seller's store is hacked - they have been dropping $100+ items to $10 for the last day.
Buyer beware, you're probably just feeding in to someone harvesting data.

    •

Why eBay is not aware of it?

    •

why your commen was removed by mod?

      •

On the last one? The title said TopFaithShop, but it was GlobalShoppingNow that was the seller, so I unpublished it.

    •

How does this work then? We order.. pay. They cancel? Say they were hacked? Then they have my email and contact details?

      • -1 vote

Pretty much. Then we'll all get double the Chinese Scam Calls coming through…

        • -8 votes

Actually the calls are always from Indians and Filipino!
I never got a scam call from Chinese people or maybe you live in China??

They are not "always" from indians or Filipinos… was even a thread on the Facebook group Aussie man cave complaining about the calls. It's a Chinese automated voicemail message when I pick up. Other threads about it on reddit too.

@R3XNebular: Chinese are more targeting the wealthy, Indian targeting anything. I pretty much receive 1 or 2 calls a day from Indian either my computer needs repair or the tax office.

        • +1 vote

          @house2015:

I agree had calls from India or Pakistan advising I had a virus and that they were from Microsoft lol

        • -4 votes

@R3XNebular The news need to sell informations otherwise they don't make money so you should read carefully before judging.
This Chinese scam is pretty recent (I knew that) and it's specifically addressed to Chinese nationals who most of the time only speak Chinese language.
And I can tell you (again) that we in Australia (non Chinese) get tonnes of scam calls from those Indians and Filipino calling from UK (BS) and they know everything about you, or calls from US (again BS) and they pretend to speak American accent, or the latest pretending to be from Telstra and want to fix your computer.
We need China as it's our major business partner so stop stereotyping only because some politicians have the influence from the US and badmouth about China.

          @dealhunt:

Mate what are you on about lol! I am half Chinese. Why are you so offended about my statement. You admit that you are incorrect then. You stated that the calls are "ALWAYS" from Indians and Filipinos which is incorrect. The Chinese Scam Calls are sent out in mass to random phone numbers. They can't decipher which phone numbers are held by Chinese or non-Chinese. LOL wow you've gone totally off topic now talking about politics ROFL!

Haha, the forks are backwards in the photos. :D

  •

    I wouldn’t trust it

  •

What age is his good for?

    •

      How tall are you?

    •

My first son is a man-child. We put him on a balance bike at 22 months and he rode it for a long time.

My second son, a bit shorter than the first, started at 23 months. Within 3 days he could go on a 1.4 km ride. Recently, he went on a 4km bike ride on the balance bike.

He is now 3.5 years old and just got his first peddle bike a week ago. Today we went on a 2.5km bike ride - no training wheels. Neither of my boys ever had training wheels. They were both really into from the start though.

We have two of these after a lot of research: FirstBike Balance Bikes. Got them cheaper on ebay and used a 20% off code. They are extremely durable and light as a feather. Also, they have pneumatic tyres for grip and comfort. Cheap on Catch with a discount code.

      •

Hi there, thanks for your recommendation.

Do you think it's worth getting the fat tyres and handbrake option?

        •

If you mean the tyres with the dimples on them (like motor cross style), I'd say it would depend on where the riding will be done and on what surface. I got the fat tyres because I thought it might be better on uneven surfaces and grass. My kids used them on the dirt bike tracks from about 2.5 years, so it suited them.

They can't really use the handbrake until they are about 3 to 3.5 years. It's a cognitive thing and they lack the brain capacity. My boys used the brake from about 3 and a bit years. There are only light slopes where we live. I think it sets them up for when they upgrade since most bikes the next size up has a back brake and a handbrake. My eldest is almost 6 and just got a full-size BMX (once again, he's a man-child) and it only has hand brakes which he is fine with.

They are more expensive, but they are super durable, very high quality and weigh nothing which is good for stacks. Plus, you can buy spare parts. Just have a look at the price of the used ones on ebay. You might even get a lightly used one there.

          @ilikeit:

          Thanks for that.

I already bought the Cruzee balance bike a while ago but it's unused so going to sell it and get the Firstbike instead. I realise now the Cruzee with foam wheels isn't going to cut it.

        •

@tranter: Pneumatic tyres are much more stable and comfortable.

FirstBike makes foam filled ones, but they are lower spec ones for kindy.

        •

          @ilikeit:

I just saw that FirstBike AU released a new model at the beginning of last month, the FAT CROSS.

I'm pretty sure they messed with ebay Multi-Variation Listings. Not the hacker bulshit they mentioned about.

  •

    Did you take the refund?

  • +1 vote

I told them i want the bike!

  •

confirmed email/ebay message they were hacked.. so basically anything that was selling for $9.99.

  •

After the refund. Why don't they just refund if they aren't going to honour it?

  •

Ok update, as i did three separate orders of various qts ive received different responses.

Single item purchase basically said warehouse warned them of zero stock but didnt update in time so offering a full refund because they dont know when they'll restock

    • +1 vote

But I'm sure if you buy off their current listing at full price they'll suddenly have stock. Hopefully eBay clamps down on these false claims. Anyway negative feedback is coming

  •

It instanstantly takes the 10 bucks. Wonder how long it will take them to refund

  • +1 vote

For those who can't work out how to leave feedback for a cancelled transaction, follow this link:
    http://my.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MyeBay&CurrentPage=My...

You'll need to wait 7 days to provide negative feedback.
Also get in touch with eBay via web chat here:
    https://www.ebay.com.au/help/buying/resolving-issues-sellers...

Explain the policy violation with topfaithshop and globalshoppingnow and how they would not honour your sale after you already made payment. eBay assured me they are going to penalise the seller and escalate the policy violation.

    •

Thanks for the link, got all the refund. Now waiting for 7 days to give a nice comment on them.

  •

mine has shipped apparently. tracking number says info received at Chullora but who knows if i will get it. The sender according to Australia Post is "RETURN ONLY,NOT FOR SALES" so thats strange as well.

If you are satisfied with the item after got it, hope you can give us a positive feedback with 5 stars, thanks!
If there is a problem with the item, we sincerely hope you can contact us first before you open a case or leave a non-positive feedback, is that OK?
We will beglad to help you solve it immediately.
You can directly reply this email to contact us. Thanks.

Can't seem to find any "cancel request". Can't they just cancel and refund? Or is this a way to avoid receiving negative feedback on their ebay account?
