The German version is called the milli vanilli.

      • They are fake danishes, not real ones.

        • That doesn't sound right.

$6.89/kg for ice cream is not very good value imho

    That's $0.69/100mL

Basic vanilla can be had for less than $0.21/100mL - https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/42620/bull…

and Woolworths home brand is $0.13/100mL - https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/74273/esse…

Connoisseur is $0.50/100mL right now on half price special or $5/Litre or $5/kg whichever unit of measurement you prefer I like my litres and millilitres for ice cream personally. https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/96190/conn…

  • Thanks OP I always prefer Quality Street tubs of choccies over the Roses ones.

    • Isn't this deal for ice cream?

    • I prefer the roses as the chocolate is higher quality.

      • How exactly is it 'higher quality' ?

        • It has a deeper richer flavor, and is smoother, usually a characteristic of higher quality with more cocoa and less sugar added.

The Streets taste exactly as the bar version, which is usually inferior chocolate to normal bar chocolate. I am just talking about the chocolate here, and not the fillings and whatnot.

Although roses is definitely not as good as it used to be maybe 5+ years ago compared to today.

It's probably all the Palm oil they now use.

      • The reverse in my opinion, Roses taste like a cheaper knock-off.
