    all you need is a working ZIP Code from a state with no sales tax… the state autofills, and then just add anything for the street address. when the error comes up, use anyways.

  I was going to go for this but thought I'd download the trial first. Premiere Elements does not allow custom project settings which in the day and age of mobile phone recorded video, square Instagram videos, etc is just ridiculous. If you want to be able to edit something that's not 16:9 you will have to use the Pro CC version.

    Premier Elements has 3 modes from Beginner to Expert called ….Quick, Guided, Expert which is similar to Premier Pro

    I don't have it but I'm sure there are custom projects in built once you spend time with it, I have old Premier Pro 5.5 maybe this can do more than it can now !!
    I should do what you did and download the trial …..$54 each for these Photoshop/Premier cut down versions (of features people never use) is a real bargain

      Yeah I had a play with that but what a faff. I could understand Elements not having some of the more enhanced features that Pro has but I never would have thought that custom project settings would be such an issue in today's environment.

  How dumbed down is Elements compared to Photoshop CC? "Lite" versions of application software generally are missing at least 1 important feature.
