  EA/Origin has retired their "On The House" free games promotion.

  But I'm not entirely sure if the free Battlefield DLCs were ever specifically a part of that promotion or not.

  It's going to be interesting to see if it gets given away on PC.

  so they have released all dlcs now for free, they could've released them all for free when they made the first dlc available. Instead the game is dead, will give them props though since call of duty dlc is almost never free.

  I'm never going to bother with a newer Battlefield game. I'll play 1942 and Vietnam till it doesn't work on PC anymore. I refuse to get into a game that requires popularity on multiplayer to work. If I hate it, I wasted my money. If I love it, the servers die, I wasted my money AND I'm unhappy. Sod that!

  Good to see BF players getting free dlc once in a while… Not like COD, still charging full price on all Dlc, even for really old games like Black ops 2.
