Stopping over in Singapore so you can have a bite to eat before continuing.

It is Scoot, so be prepared to take carry on only and eat in the airports if you want to keep the prices down.

But considering the price, the time of year and the destination from Melbourne, this is a brilliant price!

Not going to neg because that is a good price, but going through Singapore is going to add heaps of travel time. I just checked a few dates and you're looking at 18-23 hours travel time each way. Jetstar direct from Melbourne is 6 hours for about $160 more.

Some dates for summer holidays (AUS) for $440 with Jetstar; keep that in mind.
