      On my desktop it shows up as $21.90 on Dan Murphy's but when I tried your link on my mobile it shows $14.90.

    Dan's have it for $14.90. But if you dont have one closeby $15.00 is a great price for this delicious wine.

          Because if the original wasn't there then Dan wouldn't make it cheaper. And if you don't support the original, Dan will get more hold of the market and charge whatever Dan likes

    What is the big deal with Pepperjack that it comes up so often here?
    Its a nice drink, but so are lots of other Shiraz that are regularly sold for $10-$15.

      Alcohol is always like that, look at scotches that don't innovate anymore because they sell out regardless of what they do, and Japanese whiskey requiring selling an organ to purchase.

      The 2012 pepperjack was amazing, so it became a well known name. And it means that for your average wine buyer they know they're not going to get a dud wine. There's tonnes of wine on the market and a lot of it is crap, so having a reliable name means a lot.

      People don't like a risk, despite it paying off with wine. I bought a case of Old Adam Shiraz years ago for about $30 a bottle, sold a few of them for $300 later on after it won a slew of awards. Have a couple of the 2015 Dukes Magpie Hill Reserve left still that I paid about $15 for, a wine that just won Halliday's 2019 wine of the year so good luck seeing it at that price for a few years.

    Really disappointed by this wine. Not horrible, but the hype around it made it seem fat better than it's price competition

    A friend in the know says they are no longer using the same grapes, hence the cheap price and taste compared to 2012 batches or earlier

      That does not surprise me. I really think the taste has gone down hill recently and no longer worth the hype. I used to like it and now it's just meh.
