Bring back the 5% Paywave. ING has been dead to me since they removed it.

Tad dramatic, they still offer more than most banks and their customer service makes up for the Paywave cashback lost.

I'll be very very surprised if that ever happens.

The reform in interchange fees means they simply can't afford to be that generous.

Doubt they'll ever offer even 2% with the transaction account.

  • Question is…. is it locked to 15-17 year olds?

Or can I start this one up for each of my 10 and 13 year old kids?

Because it looks like a great option!

Under their what you need to know:

You must be 15 to 17 years old.

I believe its due to Visa's conditions of issuing.

Anyone know good accounts for young kids then? No fees and good-ish interest rates?

    • +2

Same would be interested. Kids have the shitty dollarmites crap at the moment that gives no interest just a jib. Would be perfect if ING had a kids account we could setup for them.

      • Sorry late reply. So they (my kids) can have a stand alone account like I don’t need to have a St George account.

Is the account in their name? Obviously O assume as parents we’d be down as the parents or something.

(Maybe I should just call lol)
