Free 12 Month Shipster Subscription @ Australia Post

1790

Greetings everyone, I just spent quite a bit of time trying to find this link, but I've just found another link which allows you to get 12 months of free shipster :)

Excellent if you have missed out any of the previous times!

Submit your details, it will give you a 12 month free trial and then charge you $1 per month after that, or $10 per year if you choose that.

If you want complete assurance you won't get charged again, I would highly recommend cancelling your payment contract HERE.

You must use Paypal to sign up.

"☑ I agree to receive marketing updates" needs to be ticked by the user otherwise you get no Deliveroo coupon emails. Thanks to Scrimshaw.

Shipster: Free shipping applies to orders from participating retailers with an order total of $25 and over and shipping costs under $20. Domestic parcels only.

List of participating retailers

Terms:

  • Following the 12 month trial offer, you will be automatically charged $1 per month or $10 per annum (as selected) until you cancel your Shipster subscription. All payments will be deducted from your PayPal account. The monthly or annual fee (as applicable)is deducted from your PayPal account. 12 month's free subscription of Shipster and reduced subscription fees are not available concurrently with any existing offer for free or reduced subscription to Shipster. Offer available to PayPal customers only. By agreeing to the offer, you also agree to the Shipster terms and conditions which can be viewed at auspost.com.au/Shipster

  • Free shipping applies to orders from participating retailers with an order total of $25 and shipping costs under $20. Domestic orders only.

  • Free delivery applies to eligible Deliveroo orders, which are those that meet the minimum basket spend of $25.

There is no official end date from what I can see, however I'd recommend to sign up now if you want it.

As always, enjoy!

You might want to also add that "☑ I agree to receive marketing updates" needs to be ticked by the user otherwise you get no Deliveroo coupon emails. Something we discovered was that Shipster will never send you any emails if you choose not to opt in, and you can't even request for an Opt-in later on.

        • I didn't know that! Thanks heaps, have included it into the OP.

          @doweyy:

Also note: the FAQ says: If you joined via one of the Shipster special promotions (12 month free) then the Deliveroo voucher will not be received until the second month of the subscription.

That means for people signing up today, expect voucher will arrive later in Sept, not Aug (I think).

        • Oh damn… what happens when you didn’t tick that box? I was signing up without reading due to the need to go fast in case the deal expires.

        • @scrimshaw: how do the Deliveroo vouchers work? Can you only use them once or you can get unlimited free delivery for the whole year?

        • @brettepi: Once per month and they have expiration dates (normally 30 days)…

  • Great find doweyy. Thanks

  • Done…..thanks O.P

  • I forgot to cancel my 2 month free subscription and got charged $6.95 this month :(

Please hand in your Ozbargain membership.

      • I deserve it, it's lazy tax :(

    • I'm in the same boat.

      Frustrating.

  • How can I check my shipster account?
The 'Manage Subscriptions' link at the top take you to a contact form

Use this link to check current subscriptions, please note though that subscriptions signed up with external providers won't show up here. Only way to check if it's active is to try buy an item >$25 at a vendor and it'll automatically discount if the emails match.

The only issue they have is the number of vendors sign up with shipster. In my opinion it is just too few of them available.

Agreed. Shipster launched about 10 months ago, and since then I haven't seen a good deal which would make Shipster desirable for me. In the same period I signed up for Prime and ebay plus, both were more convincing. I think this offer (12 months free + $1/month) could be an indication that AusPost is getting a bit desperate about the future of Shipster and wants to grow the number of subscribers as fast as possible in shortest time even if they lose a lot of money in the process, because a wider user base could be the reason for more retailers to partner with Shipster, and if more retailers would come, then more people would want to join and actually see the benefit.

      • You are spot on. They are trying to decide if this should be axed altogether. Funny thing is they are paying heaps of money to have a team around.

  • Thankyou very much :)

  • Thanks, signed up!

  • Still works for me !

  • Is there anyway we can verify the registration is successful?

This is what I'm trying to figure out. I signed up before this deal was marked as "EXPIRED" but can't find that my sub was accepted.
Somebody provided this link but it shows You do not have any subscriptions.

      • Yep same message as my account. Bugger!

    • I faked a cart at Chemist Warehouse (pick whichever retailer you already have an account with) and Shipster free came up for me.

  • When you need to cancel you are better off doing it via Aus Post than just cutting off the payment at PayPal

everyone's giving them out these days, like chlamydia at a brothel.

    • +1

Are you sure you can get it at brothel only?

    • +1

I know a lady who is giving it away. Still in box!

  • Are you sure you can get it at brothel only?

No, but it's a good place to start.
