You'll find that the 4-pack (Made in China) ones state that they have up to 800mAh with 750mAh minimum with retention of 70% charge after 5 years.
The 8-pack (Made in Japan) state they have 750mAh minimum but do not state a maximum and they have a retention of 70% charge after 10 years.
How do you know that's not B2?

While it sounds good and all, who on earth keeps rechargeable batteries around charged up and unused for 5-10 years?
My experience don't get china made eneloops because they don't retain charge as long as the ones made from Japan factory. The ones I had from DSE back in, 2012-2013 still doing a better job than the so called chocolate version of the eneloops from China in 2016
Higher mAh doesn't mean it will hold that capacity all that well
But this is a good deal consider hard to come by with Japan made cells
So the only thing we can confirm about made in Japan ones is 750mA?

Iirc Ikea ladda are Japanese eneloop rebranded, making the ladda a better deal if you have an Ikea nearby.

Yeah if you want cells lasting longer lifespan wise normal Eneloops are better but Pros are good for high drain devices
But these days you mostly can only get made in Japan ones for Pros
For an extra $3.50 you save yourself driving to ikea and walking all the way to the power section.

They're battery capacity. Assuming no idle drain, 1900 mah will last twice as long as 800 mah.

A lot of battery makers claim they have higher MAh than some other similar cells. But real usage shows a lot of Chinese made ones are no where up to scratch. It's almost to good to be true or con you buying them
There's lack of QA or simply they don't care.
I also thought Panasonic would have better quality control, which they do but still no where near as good as their own Japan ones which were made by Sanyo. They were so good

The problem is there's no industry body that oversees and regulates testing conditions. Hence all manufacturers will have slightly different setups which can cause different results.
Does anyone know where to get the C and D shells separately?
You can make them from cardboard, it really depends how often you will be swapping them though.
