  • Wow. For that price I almost wouldn't care about qualify. Would this be suitable for single player gaming, movies & YouTube?

  • How does this compare to the Hisense N7?

      Is this becoming a meme?
Every TV post in last year has this as a question. Is the N7 the benchmark for cost vs quality?

I am pretty sure I saw someone ask how the Hisense N7 compared against leggo pasta sauce not long ago.

      • +1

To be honest it is the benchmark of price to quality ratio.

      • And how did it compare to the pasta sauce?

  • Can't change registration to apply the code :(

  • How do we change this into Smart tv? Just buying an additional Android box?

    • Yes the xiaomi mi box is a good choice just don't update it to android oreo.

      • This. Netflix US is now not working - works on all other devices in house.

As to the TV? We have the 43" one (bought off Gummie) and the quality is pretty meh TBH. It's also difficult to manage the picture settings as well. For this money better off with a decent FHD TV with warranty.

  • Have had this tv for about 2 months now.

Works decent as an outdoor tv hooked up to a MiBox. Sound is utter trash tho (expected on flat screens these days) but picture etc is fine.

When I bought it a few months ago I bought one of those $2 $30 off Kogan vouchers to bring the price down some more.

  • Why does it show Shipping: AU $28.62 for me?

    • shipping is included in total price

      • Thanks, but it looks like they're cracking down on things and I can't seem to buy it with my AU account (after changing to US address) nor a brand new US account…

Can anybody recommend a good TV model from a more reputable brand that is NOT a smart tv and in the 50-55" range?

    • Linden 55" from TGG. Impeccable pic quality, sound is useless. 4k works flawlessly. Overall it's a top TV for me although I never use the TV speakers which is the only con I have.

    • Why do you need it to be NOT a smart tv? Because you don't need to use any "smart" features if you don't want to.

      • +1

Some cheap smart tvs have laggy firmware that it's better to connect android box to a non smart tv

        • This.. i'm dreading having a smart TV.. I just want the damn thing to turn on and swap inputs fast.. Everything else is handled elsewhere.

    • I'm looking for the same but 60' plus.
