  • gift basket of fresh fruit

anyone know how much this cost or how many fruits in the basket?
$200 is a big ask for my small family, 2person.

    • i would say expect something like image provided

Image is an example and contents may vary.

so say about 1kg of bananas
      250gram of Strawberries
      500 gram of Peach/nectarine
      2 kiwifruit

So say about $20 of fruit

      • +2

I would say, closer to $10
Would be roughly 3 AUD of Bananas, 3 AUD of Strawberries, 2 AUD of Peaches and 2 AUD for Kiwifruit.
        So, effectively, 5% off…
It is good for people already spending 200 AUD or if you are looking at stocking up on Olive oil- otherwise, for families that usually spend 80 AUD on Coles, it just might be too much.
Remember, if you buy perishable items, you would be throwing more than 10 AUD worth of stuff in the "brown" bins ( see food recycling in UK) .

        • Plus half a rockmelon. :)

Roughly $15 of fruit going by my quick scan of Coles Online prices, and about $10 going by prices at my local market.

        • so the max you could gain from this is around 10%
not much a bargain for my family but might be for other big families as varunpant mentioned above.
