Could be Targeted, I received my points straight away after I selected rewards for Christmas.

2000 points for Christmas when you choose to Bank your rewards for Christmas by 20 August. Visit 'Choose how you're rewarded' in your Account settings.

Offer runs from 00:01 AEST 06/08/2025 until 23:59 AEST 20/08/2025.

To qualify for this points booster you must change your Rewards choice from Automatic Savings or Qantas Points to Bank for Christmas. If you switch your Rewards choice from Bank for Christmas to Automatic Savings or Qantas Points at any point throughout the offer period you will not be eligible for this points booster.

How it works
2000 points will be loaded onto your Everyday Rewards Card within 10 business days of switching your Rewards choice from Automatic Savings or Qantas Points to Bank for Christmas. This offer can only be enjoyed once during the offer period.

Once you have switched your Rewards choice to Bank for Christmas, your saved Everyday Rewards dollars can be enjoyed between 13th November 2025 and 1st January 2026 unless otherwise advertised

        Not after you have already received the points, which is usually instant after your transaction completes.

      Me too! I always switch, get the points, switch back and then they target me again. Trouble is, i never actually spend $10 in woolworths these days to redeem the points. Not one item i buy is better or cheaper there than Coles, Aldi or Harris Farms, so usually just wait until the cashews are $10 again.

        Woolworths and Coles literally rotate their specials in alternate weeks and then offer the same pricing. E.g. Coke cans are $9 this week at Coles, but not woolies. Next week they are on sale for the same price that Coles had it for at Woolies but back to full price for Coles. Sounds like you're not a very savvy grocery shopper

    It’s wild that Every Rewards requires three-factor authentication (password, SMS and email) while Commbank only just rolled out two-factor authentication…

      Weird. Just logged in with only a password. They often require a code for some things, either SMS or emailed. Might depend on whether they're seeing a 'trusted device' via cookies?

      Incentive to shop at Ww during a period of typically higher (looser) expenditure I guess. Don't see much in it for customers other than it's an approach to "force" (easily changed though) savings, which might help some manage their budgets over the festive season. Your money will normally be worth less in 4 months but I don't see how that helps Ww.

    I already had 'bank for Christmas' selected. Switched back to 'Automatic Savings', found the Christmas bonus under 'boosters', tap on 'Discover' , switched to 'bank for Christmas'. Instant credit of 2000 points.

    I tried switching back to normal (from Xmas), but nothing. I had gotten the 5000 points switch offer in June though after spending $30+. Next time, I'll remember to switch back after the points.
