Depends on what you're looking for technically, but the medium-to-long term strategy (i.e. you plan on owning the TV for more than 18 months) would be the C8: it has the best image processing LG has to offer, and a solid price.
If you can afford to wait, you'd at least want next year's model, which should have HDMI 2.1, so you can actually make use of more 120 fps content for the panel.

Depends on how much you want to spend. Personally this is the one I would buy for myself! LG make the panel for everyone else anyway and I much prefer the menu system and look of the LG.
Don't suppose one of the ex-demo units is an SPK8-S?
