  • Make Sure to snap them up!

  • $4.95 for express shipping. $9.95 for standard. I'd suggest click and collect otherwise the delivery fee might kill the deal.

Unfortunately the petrol cost for my closest JB also kills the deal xD

    • Thats OK X50's are often cheaper and are easily louder.

  • yeah good speaker got them for 2 for $34.50 a while back from Kogan.

    • Can they fill up a small community hall playing music?

trying to find the most portable solution to pair with an android device to play music in a small hall nothing major just some radio or music.

  • +1

JBL Go back to design school

  • $28 for 2 was a previous deal FYI

    • Thanks I'll wait now, I see these have been under 30 a few times and you can get version 2 waterproof for 50

    • that was including the shipster deal of Free shipping. So if you could get $25 delivered for one in the future, you're doing well.

  • I need to get a new speaker for use at home.

I have the Bose mini soundlink 2.

But I need a second one to give to mum. If OzB consensus is time that I upgrade to something even better I'll give the Bose to my mum and get something new. Or if I can get a good speaker for $30-50 for mum I'd just do that? Thoughts?

Is this one good enough? (I don't want junk for mum but she doesn't need a $200 either) The Amazon one recommended above looks alright?

    • These thigns are amazing, but we're talking about the size of a large box of matches.
The sound will fill a room easily, but that's it.
So it depends what you're expecting from "a new speaker to use at home".

      I'd personally wait for a Sonos1 deal.
      But different strokes\needs

      • ha that's tiny. i'll check out the Sonos1 and see. thanks.

yeh mum doesn't need much else other than a a room. she's recently learnt how to use Spotify and it's opened a whole world of awesomeness for her haha but I'd like the sound to be decent. i'll keep looking. thanks again

    • I’m questioning why you’re looking at $34 speakers when you need “a new speaker” and already have a Bose something?

I understand having tight budgets, but a sound bar with subwoofer for $150-200 will destroy these things in every way.

      • i didn't realise my above post was so difficult to understand. the new speaker is because I've given my Bose speaker to my mum for the time being and now that she enjoys it, i'd like to get her one permanently. so she'd either take my Bose and I get something new for me or I'd get a new one for her. She doesn't need a subwoofer, and it being portable it is great.

        • Perhaps have a listen to the UE boom 2.

I’d wait. Got 3 for $39 from Kogan about 6 months ago.
