  • Price now shows as $149 If I click via the link - if you grabed it it was a bargain

    • Price was ALWAYS $149.
      You pay $154.95 with shipping.
Samsung send you $40 Visa Pre Pay card.
      So thats makes it $114.95.

  • This is indeed a bargain. It's $189 in DSE after cashback

  • You'll also get around $6.8 back from MoneyBackCo if you buy through them.

    • Scotty, is there anyway you can claim through MoneyBackCo AFTER the transaction?

      • Not sure — if you have previously brought from MoneyBackCo and have NEVER stumbled on any other Deals Direct affiliation link — then there might be a small possibility that your purchase is tracked.

        However I'll say "not likely".

  • What a co-incidence, i am going shopping tonight with a friend to possibly get one of these. It looks like one of the best ones out there (the P2 is potentially even better but its $298), and its hard to find well made non-ipods.

However the colour is awful which is why its $30 cheaper than at DSE as you only get it in god awful green. I would rather pay an extra $30 for a nice colour. But if you don't care about the colour i'd recommend one of these, for the price your gonna be hard pressed to find anything close to it.

Edit: One caveat, im always a cautious buyer, they don't mention anything about a $40 cashback on the site, only the dse cataloge mentions the $40 cashback, and JBHIFI and DSE say the 4gb version comes with a $30 cashback. I haven't seen anyone else advertise the cashback, so you may want to clarify with dealsdirect prior to purchase.

    • DSE's price is $229.
So for $149 I get it $80 cheaper.
Colour is fixed by using a case/skin.
Samsung may not like a redemption with a $149 price but they should still honour it.

      • Arrgh i always screw that up, advertising the after cashback price should be illegal.

Good point about the case, presuming they are available.

  • Wow! It's now $139

    • Bugger.
I put my order in last night when I posted the deal.
Didn't use MoneyBack and now its $10 cheaper :-(

      • No worries mate. You can talk to DealsDirect customer service, they will give you a $10 rebate (as credit).
        I've ordered mine this morning.

        • Thank you mate.
I emailed customer service and they credited my account $10.

  • Great value indeed! Just placed an order for one. I just hope I can get the cashback.

  • Something to note: All claims must be received within 15 days of date of purchase.

  • Thanks. Just placed one. I had 20$ store credit so it cost me only ~78$ (after cash back and promotion). I also got some points with my Amex card.

  • It's just too good to go past..
I wanted to get rid of my chunky iPod too, going for under $100 after moneybackco rebate pushed me to buy..

  • Some1 here selling on eBay?

  • Interesting. Nice pickup. Why anyone would buy this from eBay is beyond me. Whats next from this seller?- $8 Domino's pizzas????

  • Received my MP3 Player. Excellent build quality on this. Colour is not that bad either- something different ;-}
package comes sealed and needs to be opened to get serial number even though an incomplete on is on the back of box.

No invoice with package so everyone needs to print one from DealsDirect.

So will be waiting the 6-8 weeks from April 30th for my $40 Pre-Paid card.

  • deal no longer available

    • The $40 card still is.
      Deal is now $20 more.
      So $134.95.

  • 30th April is the last day to register the e-pay gift card. So if u want the extra $40, you'll need to act quick.
