    • Make sure you click I am not a robot and dont forget to click the little white box.

      • Oh damn. I forgot to click that little white check box. And i got charged because it didn't redeem the voucher code.

        Thanks.

        • I also got charged. Sent them an email right away, hoping they'll refund me. I thought by clicking continue it would take me to a confirmation page before charging me.

        • @thirdeyechai:

It's a digital download. Unfortunately they probably won't refund and they're not under any ACL.

        • OWNED 😂😂😂

        no good my friend

      • Seems to be certain files/albums

  • This is one seriously dodgy deal. There is a difference between this and a price error.

Now just watch me get down voted into oblivion.

    • +1

It's not a deal at all.

      • Yeah but what are the odds I'll get pinged if I downvote the deal.

        • What does it matter?

        • @Keef:

You ever been banned from voting or commenting?

        • +3

@syousef: Your account might get banned but bargains live forever.

        • @Keef:

it's still annoying. You can't participate in discussions.

    • There is a difference between this and a price error.

      Go ahead, enlighten us.

      • +1

If you don't understand the difference between the price being wrong for an item, and a mistake that makes everytihng free in a particular marketplace, I'm afraid I can't enlighten you. How do I correct 13 years of schooling in one post?

        • -2

Try going to school first. There is nothing conceptually different between the two, the second is just a price difference to $0.

Edit: Oh god I just noticed who I was replying to. Ok, don't worry, keep living in your fantasy world, you've proven resistant to reason many times before.

        • -1

          @HighAndDry:

Let's take it away from the virtual. You can't tell the difference between a shop owner misprinting a price label then a bunch of people buying his remaining stock below cost, and the shop owner leaving the front door unguarded and having masses of people come and take everything he has to sell for free?

And I need to go to school? And I'm the one living in the fantasy world? Ok. I'm proud to be "resistant to reason" if it's what passes for reason in your mind. You use the word "reason" but I don't think you know what it means.

if that's all still too hard try this: A minor loss from a mistake that can be written off as part of the cost of doing business, vs your entire business becoming an unviable loss making exercise.

        • @syousef:

Let's take it away from the virtual.

Which renders it irrelevant. A download is a copy. No one is deprived of anything.

A real life store - the storekeeper is out a product if you walk out. Though using that analogy, the storekeeper is confused about the price of the goods, and is waving you past the checkout telling you it's $0. If you did that, I'm not seeing how you did anything wrong.

the shop owner leaving the front door unguarded and having masses of people come and take everything he has to sell for free?

There's the equivalent of a sign saying "Everything Free!" on the door, put there by the storekeeper himself.

        • @HighAndDry:

A download is a copy. No one is deprived of anything.

This is of course the same argument against "piracy" (copyright infringement). If you think taking copies is fine, and you're looking to be a pirate, you're on the wrong site. I'm not the AFP and I'm not your mother, but I think you'll find it's very much against the rules here.

When everything you have to sell can be taken for nothing, nothing you have is worth anything. Copy or not, if everyone downloads this music for free the store isn't viable because you have nothing to sell.

There's the equivalent of a sign saying "Everything Free!" on the door, put there by the storekeeper himself

How do you think that is a "reasonable" analogy. In what scenario does a store keeper of sound mind ACCIDENTALLY yell "Everything Free!"? For someone who wants to criticize someone else for being "resistant to reason" you're not very good at it.

        • @syousef:

If you think taking copies is fine, and you're looking to be a pirate, you're on the wrong site.

Considering this site is pretty famous for taking advantage of pricing errors, I think it's you who's on the wrong site lol.

Copy or not, if everyone downloads this music for free the store isn't viable because you have nothing to sell.

Why's it my job to keep a business viable?

In what scenario does a store keeper of sound mind ACCIDENTALLY yell "Everything Free!"?

He's making a mistake. So he's mistakenly giving out free goods. Just like Tidal mistakenly made the free code work with all albums.

In the end though, the store keeper/site is the one giving out things for free.

        • @HighAndDry:

Considering this site is pretty famous for taking advantage of pricing errors, I think it's you who's on the wrong site lol.

I'm not repeating myself. I already explained how this is different.

Why's it my job to keep a business viable?

It isn't. But it's not your job to intentionally take advantage of their mistakes either. If a Bank's login page is broken and you can get into someone else's account, you're not legally allowed to move other people's money to your account. I'm sorry if that's news to you.

  • It seems that the voucher can only be used once per email address.

    • Yeah.. but the email addresses can just be any old rubbish it seems like.

  • It only allowed me once.

  • I tried the code just to see if it would work but it won't download? I got sent a link to the downloads page (MP3) and when I click 'download' it has an infinite buffering/blue circle. What am I doing wrong? Help?

  • +2

Music industry is gonna wanna skin Ozbargainer's hides…

    • It was all over Reddit before it reached here.

    • Industry or just JayZ

      • +3

its the only way nicki minaj can get people to use her free download code.. by making it usable on other albums :)

  • I've downloaded about 5 albums now.
Tips: use fake email. You don't need to click on 'Proceed to Payment' or create an account. I forgot to tick 'Accecpt our terms and privacy policy:' (mispelled on website) on my first few attempts so the 'Redeem Voucher' button wasn't enabled.
After clicking the button, I was able to download all tracks without issues.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks Op

    • Do you mind helping me? How do you download this music? Did you click 'MP3" or 'FLAC' download after you get emailed the link? I'm confused.

      • I actually downloaded mp3s. I could use both, so it's your choice

      • You don't need to use a valid email address. You don't get emailed a link.
        Enter the voucher code.
Make sure you check the boxes to Accept the terms and conditions AND the CAPTCHA check box.
        Click REDEEM voucher.

You should then be able to choose MP3 or FLAC and select to download the tracks or all the tracks. You don't need to wait for an email.

    • +1

I've been using famous pirate names as email addresses and name. And they all live in 90210.

    • -3

Aren't you worried that may be able to compel you to purchase based on what you agreed to in the 'terms and privacy policy'? There's a lot more options to identify someone on the internet than email address (assuming you've used a fake).

      • +1

Lol. Nonsense. They aren’t going to follow anything up at all.

  • +5

    Looks like someone flac'ed up

    • +1

It's been going for 5 hours now , someone's in trouble!

  • Preparing files….

  • Why is it every time i try to download it just stays that saying processing download 0/1.

    • +5

I've noticed that more recent releases by popular artists seem to be more likely to work compared to older stuff.

      • just downloading prodigy

      • I have noticed this also

  • +1

Holy Flac! Thanks so much OP! You are the QUEEN!

    • It's working for you? I've only had success without 5% of the last 15 or so tries

  • +1

not working stuck trying to download good deal if you get download.

  • Tomorrow on OzBargain: "There's no one on security at Myer on level 2, you can just walk out with FREE Unlimited clothes!"

Just pirate the albums. At least then there's no risk you're actually costing someone else money.

    • +1

Security gate is broken, therefore everything must be free!

    • +2

      YOU WOULDN'T DOWNLOAD A CAR.

      • +1

Cos if you made a copy of a car and no one lost anything obviously that is a terrible thing that you wouldn't would do.

      • +1

I'm saying go ahead, download the car if you really want; I don't care. Just don't waste the legit distributor's time and money to do so.

    • +2

Lol, this is funny, why do OB members have to be so shit, and downvote jokes like this?

      • Coz they don't like Robin William.

  • +4

You can't just download it from The Pirate Bay like normal pirates?

    • +1

probs safer than giving your IP address to Jay-Z ! that guy straight up stabbed a guy in the stomach at a party for bootlegging his records. Allegedly.

    • What about honeypots? You don't wanna get trapped in that……

  • +2

i especially like to get metallica at times like this. reminds me of the old napster days. i suspect they are homeless by now.

  • Works, but just takes a long time to download each album one at a time. Thanks OP

Can someone please make a python script?

  • For people having trouble downloading, download the app and the album will be there for you to listen to and download.

    • What OS are you referring to exactly? Desktop? Mobile?

  • +1

I don’t understand how people are arguing that you should pirate the albums instead of download free on Tidal! Either way someone is losing money. Who cares?!

    • No, if you pirate the album no one loses money, only potential loss of earnings (if you would have bought it otherwise). I think we can all agree that most people getting a free album here wouldn't have bought it so actual loss is negligible. If you download from Tidal, there are actual real server, operating and time costs, and most likely they have to pay artists for the downloads too.

      • most likely they have to pay artists for the downloads too.

So we get songs and help out artists? Win-win.

  • If you use your real account, then it may charge to your default payment.
If you look in the receipt section, the original price shows. It also adds you to the subscription service. Be careful.

  • Looking for any deals on bicycle, bridge, road and hill recognition software;-)

  • -1

Welp, I could not for the life of me find the voucher entry at checkout and figured pressing confirm or whatever would bring me to the next stage of checkout. Nope, it charged my account instead lol. I win today's OzB Darwin Award :(

    • Yay for supporting the artists!!!!

  • Processing download. Preparing files: 0/1… and nothing happens… and they don't support downloads in Safari… weird.

  • mp3's working for me too, anything really. Thanks JayZ

  • Says invalid voucher now.

    • +1

Lol. You don’t need an email. You were able to enter any gibberish.

      • +1

        D'OH!

  • +1

    "invalid voucher"

    Lol this just got ozbargained

    • +1

Yep. Was working, now it's all done.

      • yea was lucky to get at least one album

  • Deal ended me thinks:(

  • Now getting "Invalid Voucher"

  • Oh well :(

  • +2

19 Albums! Some of the captchas were really annoying

    • Well done! After 20 minutes mine is still preparing files but I don't believe it will work so I'll give up soon.

    • +1

      The whole Neil Diamond collection?

    • haha trouble is will I ever use this… Already got spotify premium and such hassle to hook it up via USB B to listen on worthy speakers.

      • I don't feel too bad as I subscribe to Tidal. But, nice to have some FLACs for my Walkman…

        • Yeh true, dunno if the difference is just a placebo to me or if it's actually noticeably better than 320 spotify. Used Tidal Hifi for a while and thought I could hear a difference but its probably just me wanting to think that haha

        • I can definitely hear a difference listening on good headphones at home. Not so much in the car or out walking.

        • @mostlygordon:
Wow, those are overpriced. You'd be better off getting a cheap smartphone, they can do so much more, and a lot of them have more than 16gb capacity too.

        • @nuttapillar:
The only phone with a decent headphone output is the LG V30+, but I'm a sucker for Galaxy OLEDs. The Sony output is awesome, plus being an OzBargainer, I only paid $180 for it:-)

      • 21 Albums transferring to USB to plug into a spare slot in my TV, optical connection to the amp. Lossless pink floyd

        • Hopefully plays gapless for The Wall.

        • Got all their albums myself. Except Relics, cos that didnt work.

        • Your tv plays flac?? nice.

    • Captcha trick is to move something on screen
