  • Why do I always buy this stuff? Thanks OP.

    • +1

Because you don't want to smell bad like the dude on the train this morning…. had to breathe through my mouth and I still could smell him.
Why do people head out in the morning without showering?

      • +6

People who have that sort of smell simply don't miss one day of showering! You should of course shower every day but someone who misses one day (unless they've been rolling around in manure) ain't gonna smell like that. I'm not a doctor but I think it has to be some sort of depression going on for people who actually SMELL. Their clothes aren't clean either so I figure you have to be depressed to go so long without bathing or doing a load of washing for you to smell that bad :(

        • So often that people don't smell anything until after they get told they shower at nights rather than mornings. (except for hot nights or "hot ;) " nights)

Stopped buying bonds after my last few pairs didn't last that long :/. But at $8 it's probably a decent price

    • +1

Sounds like you didn't bond well with em?

  • +1

Not sure why the mods decided to combine my Bonds post with my Nivea deodorant post?

The only related part is that I put both on in the morning after my shower…

Have we finally posted all the Nivea stuff that was mentioned in the other posts now?

Also, looking for deals in the beauty category is terrible. They miscategorise Sex toys and weird intimate clothing… you see the most bizzare non things

To be precise, call this is an antiperspirant.

Will this make women think I have small hands?

      • It will make you smell…

        …huge

    • Thanks, I will grab some…

  • +6

The Nivea antipersperant is often $1.50 at woolies if you buy it all the time and want it locally.

I stopped using it a while ago and switched to this natural deodorant - https://blackchicken.com.au/product/axilla-deodorant-paste/

Even though you sweat (which is natural) it dries quickly. I don't smell at the end of the day, and there is less build on my skin compared to using the Nivea roll on.

Just another option if anyone is interested.

Thank you, will check it out

Thanks mate, I used to use those roll on perspirants but stopped because they were fading out the armpit area of all my shirts.

Does your natural one affect your shirts?

      • +1

Not at all, I don't even see it on my clothes after wearing them. Any residue washes out completely.

The roll-on above used to make the pits crusty on my gym shirts and despite use pre-wash it didn't help.

    • I didn't expect anyone at Ozbargain to mention natural deodorants because they're pretty expensive. I used to use the Mennen Speed Sticks for ages, then some non-aluminium deodorants, then a couple of Schmidt's pastes, and now eager to try making my own. The Schmidt bergamot and lime smells damn good, so my first quest is to try making that. Paying 15-odd bucks for a small jar goes against my Ozbargain instincts.

Have you visited this online store?

      • Haha yeah :)

It works well and I get a lot of use from a small jar so there is enough value for me in paying for it for now.

I have been to that store, the last lot was from eBay with a 10% code, but never tried the Schmidt paste.

  • The jocks aren't $8. As soon as you select a size, it's $12.48

    • Try selecting a different colour, I initially selected charcoal, but it came up at 12.48, tried a couple of different ones and eventually found the blue for $8
