      I bought that one about 3-4 years ago. It still works like a champ.

      What would you suggest if someone wanted to make a jaffle sandwich? I'm not being sarcastic. I am genuinely interested.

        can't go wrong with spaghetti or baked beans

        • I completely agree with baked beans, I was more asking what bti_jet would suggest if he considered this to be "landfill".

        Waste of money, if you want to make a jaffle buy a proper one. These cheapies usually don't toast bread yet alone melt cheese. Check reviews.

        I bought Breville big one, reviews seem good

  • No really a Jaffle maker. more a sandwich toaster.

    Yum cheap teflon coated sandwiches. You wonder why you put pepper on your ham cheese toasty and then realise its not pepper. Mmm extra tasty

    I’ve often wondered with things like this.

    How is this item;
    - designed
    - manufactured
    - compliance tested
    - shipped to aus
    - distributed
    - shelved in store
    And still sold at a profit

    All while it costs me more to send a small package from within my own state.

  • Deal for a building & home content insurance with this please.

  • A true professional would not consider these adequate for jaffle preparation. The plates are extremely small and the "borders" (which do not accomodate any filling) take up a significant amount of the total area of the sandwich. Instead invest in an "extra large" or "deep dish" version such as this kmart product.
