$25 off CyberLink PowerDVD 10 Ultra 3D (Download version) - $74.95USD or $76.11AUD

50

Note must use the US store, also includes CyberLink Power2Go 7 Deluxe free… Handy program for anyone that recently bought a 3D TV/ 3D projector as it not only plays 3D Blu-rays from your computer but also converts old DVDs and videos to 3D, effect looks fairly good imo.

The way I did it was the trail version directed me to their winter sale however when you select AUD it bumps the price up to something like $89.95. Leave it on USD during checkout and $76.11AU is what paypal charged me.

PS: I know there are D2D discount software websites but I've read of some to be a bit dodgy so I thought this was a pretty good price direct from the CyberLink.

  • NOTE you MUST try before you buy. (Yeah I know the original post says you have to, but my reasons are different)

It is a known problem that cyberlink powerdvd 10 does NOT WORK AT ALL on some system configurations. My htpc (I3-530 + GA-H57M-USB3 v1.0) is one of them. I believe there is a discussion on their forums, but no conclusions.

Cyberlink have buried their heads in the sand on that one, when I trialed their software it was a long standing issue that they had not fixed. Something may have changed in the last few months, but I honestly doubt it.

  • Agreed. There are BIG problems running PowerDVD v.10 in Cinema mode (or within Media Center) on many PC's.

A 10-page thread with countless people complaining was closed at cyberlink with their final comment saying all the complainers had pirated versions. What a joke!

Just use version 9, it plays Blu-Ray fine. V.10 is for 3D, which despite the current hype, if you are over 30 you will know that the 3D fad goes around every 10 years or so. An entire family sitting in their lounge wearing glasses? lol@chu! Just hold hands - it's far more exciting when your partner gets a surprise or other emotion during a movie.

I think the sale is to raise funds for v.11 development.bugfixrelease

  • You can pick up the oem version from MSY for $5 that does 90% of what this does, without the bloatware. works a treat with my HTPC win7 x64

  • +1

PowerDVD is rubbish at any price.Didn't read blu-rays. Trisd ArcSoft and it worked straight away.

How can a trial copy be a pirate copy lol. Nice excuse Cyberlink
